It feels like a Late summer kind of morning. Cooler, damp smelling, mellow.

We are in transition from the Fire element of Summer into Earth element season .

Transition comes in many forms; The young ones are getting ready to return to schools and colleges, fledgling adults are preparing their way to universities.

Many are moving from a known season of life into an unknown/new one.

Daylight is shortening.

The Earth element of late summer is associated with any transition...be it a natural seasonal one or a life one.

Anxiety, worry, feeling ungrounded, churning things over and over can all come up when the Earth element is challenged.

Nourishment on all levels is the key to smoothing out any transition...and it can come in many forms.

It may be great food, walking, lying on the ground, plugging feet into earth, reading a trashy novel, chatting with a friend, journalling, painting.

Find what nourishes you during times of transition...it will help it to be smooth.

September brings a shift of pace.

Summer gives way to new routines, responsibilities and, often, decisions that need to be made. It can feel like a fresh beginning, but it may also highlight where we feel tired, overwhelmed, stuck or out of balance.

In Five Element wisdom, September carries us from Late Summer towards Autumn.

The golden time of Late Summer invites us to notice our harvest, feel nourished and recognise where we are supported. Autumn asks us to reflect, let go of what no longer serves us and reconnect with our true direction.

What do you want to carry forward into the months ahead?

What might your body be ready to release?

A one-to-one Creative Kinesiology session gives us space to turn detective and listen to your body’s deep wisdom.

Using muscle testing as biofeedback, we can track what your body, mind and energy systems are communicating through symptoms or a sense of imbalance, helping you restore balance and find your personal compass.

The body knows the answers. I know how to ask the questions that can unlock potential.

My remaining September appointments are:

Online

9th September: 4pm or 5.30pm
23rd September: 4pm

In person in Crediton

3rd September: 4pm
10th September: 2.45pm or 4pm

If September feels like the right time to listen to what your body has been trying to tell you, booking link is in my bio.

You are also very welcome to message me with any questions.

Happy end of August out there.

As some of you know I took some time off in August, which ended up being longer than expected.

Compassion fatigue and burnout were stalking me a little too closely, so I thought I was taking time out to catch up with myself.

It turned out to be more of a deep dive into boundary setting and uncomfortable conversations.

Alot can change in just a few weeks!

Perhaps its menopause, eclipses or just middle age, but my ability to put up and shut up left the building (to be fair it has been close to the door most of my life already) 😂😎

Some Sea Swims, alot of fruit and veg from the garden (and copious watering cans) and some soul searching later...

I am returning with a clearer sense of pace, space and capacity. And am looking forwards to the next module of Way of the Tracker, hosting a RCCM conference hub in Exeter on behalf of the KF, the next CK teachers meeting, finalising the new CK website and launching our village food project.

On and on :)

Happy New Moon and partial solar eclipse.

Let's get discerning!

In the UK the Eclipse begins just after 6:00 PM reaches a peak maximum coverage of roughly 90% to 95% around 7:05 PM to 7:16 PM BST, and ends across the country 8:00 PM to 8:10 PM.

My sense is that it's time to make some decisions in our lives- astrologically this is a LEO new moon, and some speak of the Lion's gate that we have just been through.

So Fire moon, in Fire season in the Northern Hemisphere, in the year of the Fire Horse.

Time to get DISCERNING!

The Small Intestine Meridian (of the Fire element) brings us the gift of discernment, of sorting the wheat from the chaff on every level, body, mind and spirit.

On a physical level our Small Intestines sort the food we feed ourselves into 'yes please' and 'no thanks' as it goes about the business of digestion.

It's a binary process- a yes or a no, not a 'let me think' about it or a 'maybe'.

So for this New Moon, as she blocks out the Fire from Grandfather Sun, take some time to make some decisions about what serves you and what doesn't.
Question yourself.
Be surprised (and excited as we are talking about fire) by your answers.

We have 2 weeks to make big changes, before the Lunar Eclipse checks our resolve.

En-joy
Love SJ 🔥❤️‍🔥🔥

Do we still need leaders?
Could we move to more circular community and business structures?

Morning wonders....
