I am a big believer in the Universe working for me and sometimes it needs to nudge me back on track when I veer off.
On Monday I had a really strange day where nothing I wanted to do seemed to work. I just kept hitting walls, which felt incredibly frustrating and did knock me off course a bit. I decided to just let go and we headed to Haldon forest as I felt like I needed to be in nature around trees and have a cacao to ground myself back in.
When we arrived, it was busier than usual. I set out on my walk anyway but struggled to find a quiet spot. I ended up veering a little off the path, sat down, poured my cacao and closed my eyes, listening to the wind in the trees and feeling at home in the forest. My nervous system needs stillness to regulate and come back to centre. Unfortunately I had chosen to sit near one of the natural instruments and every now and then I would have someone come past and give it a good bang trying to make music (some sounded better than others). In those moments, I heard deep within me ‘This too shall pass’. It felt like a message from the Universe saying no matter what happens or is going on around you, it will pass. Don’t get caught up in the noise. Surrender and go with the flow of life. Sometimes we seem to hit a wall, and instead of getting frustrated perhaps it is there for a reason to help you change course and go in a better direction. As I sat watching the trees bending and swaying in the wind, I was reminded to stay flexible. To go with the flow and trust the guidance within me. It is there for me, to help guide me.
The Universe guided me again this morning when I wanted to listen to a specific meditation. A few seconds in, it kept jumping to the next meditation. After a couple attempts to restart, I let go and went with the flow and it was exactly what I needed to hear today. Sometimes we just have to allow and let go control and trust that the Universe is always working for us.
Have a beautiful day.😊
