We strive to make you feel relaxed whilst you are here and amazing when you leave. We have free parking at the rear of our salon.

Phew!!! What a busy December that was. 🥵
The salon doors are now closed until Thursday 4th January and I am off for a well earned break.

I’d like to thank all my lovely clients for supporting me over the last year. I couldn’t do my job without you and I am grateful for you all.

You can call the usual number to make an appointment, although I might not answer on Christmas Day 😆 or drop me a text on 07726 273804. The answer phone is on so I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I delayed the update as something isn’t quite finished but you can’t see it in these photos so thought I’d best post before you all tell me off 🤭
A big shout out to Harrhys Carpets in Abergavenny. Exceptional service, I definitely chose the right company this time.

ESSENTIAL REPAIRS IN PROGRESS.
Please don’t be alarmed if you see our salon like this. We have had major problems with the floor and so we have to close to get the job done.
It was a great opportunity to use it as a dummy run to see how quickly we could clear the salon if we ever have a 4 hour flood warning - 🤞 we don’t. I am happy to say we cleared it in well under 2 hours thanks to the very efficient help of Duncan Fisher and my family Josh, Jacques and hubs Gareth. I also could not have been able to do it without the support of my landlady Jill Richards.

FAREWELL KAZ 😘🥲

On Saturday 3rd Sept 2022 Avenue Hairdo said Goodbye and Good Luck to our lovely stylist, Kaz (Carole) who has worked along side me for 7 years!
Kaz and I have been through a bit over the last few years (Flood/Pandemic) and she has given me so much support throughout.
I am so sad to see her go, but wish her every success in the future.
You will see Kaz now sailing the canals of Wales on her canal boat as she is leaving the hairdressing world behind. Sounds bliss!

We absolutely love doing the colour changes to this fantastic Mohawk! You can really see the progress of the Mohawk with every colour change too.

We started with the green, then changed to purple, then back to a natural dark colour for a wedding, and now we have cobolt blue with ultramarine running through the ends 💙

To create these fabulous colours, we use Evo Hair Products Evo Staino Direct Dye 💙💜💚

Our brief was a French Bob, and a French Bob we did! Our client was so happy with her total restyle, and we loved doing this so much!

We used a razor to do this cut. Using a razor creates very light sections of hair, and the hair practically floats. Creating a total restyle with a razor, is one of our favourite things to do.
