Residents have been getting creative and putting their artistic talents to work as they begin decorating birthday cards to send to His Majesty King Charles III. Colourful designs and heartfelt messages will help celebrate the King's special day and share warm wishes from our residents. 🎉🎂 Happy Birthday, Brian! 🎂🎉

Yesterday, Brian enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration surrounded by family, friends, and staff.

He spent part of his special day out with his family enjoying a delicious ice cream before returning to Tamar House, where staff gathered to sing Happy Birthday and present him with a birthday cake complete with candles for him to blow out. 🎂✨

The celebrations continued with a Norwich City-themed gift, which Brian was delighted to receive. ⚽💚💛

It was lovely to see Brian smiling and enjoying his day. From everyone at Tamar House, we hope you had a fantastic birthday and made some wonderful memories! 🥳🎈

What a fantastic afternoon of music and entertainment! 🎶💃🕺

Our residents had a wonderful time welcoming a new entertainer Louise Elder Vocalist yesterday afternoon who kept everyone smiling with a selection of upbeat songs. The room was filled with singing, dancing, and plenty of happy memories as residents joined in with their favourite tunes.

Our residents kicked off the week in great spirits yesterday with a morning of fun and friendly competition! 🎯🎲

There was plenty of laughter as everyone enjoyed games of darts, dominoes, and snakes and ladders. It's wonderful to see residents coming together, socialising, and making the most of every moment.

On Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome some very special little visitors to Tamar House! ❤️

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the children, sharing smiles, laughter, and precious moments together. These wonderful intergenerational interactions bring so much joy to everyone involved and create meaningful connections across the generations.

It's amazing to see how much happiness a simple visit can bring, with residents and children alike benefiting from each other's company. We look forward to many more visits like this in the future! 🥰

Friday brought plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures, so our residents and staff made the most of it while staying cool and hydrated ☀️🍉🍦

Everyone enjoyed some refreshing fresh fruit and tasty ice lollies — the perfect way to enjoy the day together and keep comfortable in the heat. Lots of smiles, chats, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere all around! 💛

We were also lucky to enjoy a special visit from little Elliot, who is now walking and delighted everyone with his new steps 👣💕 We also welcomed Tricia and Matty the dog for a visit — and Matty certainly joined in with the fun and enjoyed an ice lolly too! 🐶🍦

Creativity was buzzing this week as a couple of our lovely residents spent time painting bee houses 🎨🐝

There were lots of bright colours, smiles, and great conversations while creating little homes to help support local pollinators. We can’t wait to see them proudly displayed in the garden and hopefully welcome some new visitors soon! 🌼💛

This month on our Armchair Travels, we journeyed to Pakistan 🇵🇰 and enjoyed a wonderful day exploring another culture together.

A huge thank you to our lovely senior, Humera, who visited with her daughter dressed in beautiful traditional clothing and helped bring the experience to life. They kindly prepared a selection of delicious homemade dishes for everyone to enjoy, including pulao, kheer and dahi bhaley.

Residents listened to traditional music, took in the sights and flavours of Pakistan, and spent the day celebrating and learning about another country. Another fantastic armchair adventure and a lovely way to travel the world together 🌍✨

🤠☀️ Saddle up for our upcoming Summer Rodeo at Tamar House! ☀️🤠

Join us for a fun-filled day with our residents as we celebrate summer together! We’re planning a BBQ (weather permitting), games, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to get involved and make memories.

We’d love to see everyone get into the spirit — dress up in your best rodeo or country-themed outfits and join in the fun! 🐎🌵👒

We are also welcoming donations for our tombola stall — any contributions would be hugely appreciated and will help make the day even more special.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all! 🎉
