Happy Global Running Day 🏃♂️💚
We're blessed to have several talented practitioners that frequently run, as a form of exercise and to improve their wellbeing!
Here's some words from Bernie (slide 1 🤩): 🫶
"I'm Looking forward to my first ultra marathon in just over two weeks, but today isn't really about the next race.
It's about all the runs that came before it.
The runs that helped me work through stress. The runs that cleared my head when life felt overwhelming. The runs that gave my brain some much-needed focus and calm.
The runs that reminded me that even on difficult days, I could keep moving forward.
Running has made me fitter and stronger - but the biggest impact has always been mental. It's been therapy, meditation, problem-solving and adventure, all rolled into one.
I'm grateful for what running has added to my life. And I'm grateful that my work as a sports massage therapist at Oak Park Clinic means I get to help other runners and athletes keep doing what they love too.
Whether it's recovering from a tough training block, managing a ni**le before race day, or just keeping your body moving well - we're here for all of it!"
