⚠️ Medicine recall notice.

Medicines recall: Ramipril 2.5mg capsules (Crescent Pharma Limited)

One batch of Crescent Pharma Limited Ramipril 2.5mg capsules is being recalled as a precaution after a packaging error.

This follows a complaint which identified that, inside a sealed carton of Crescent Pharma Limited Ramipril 2.5mg capsules, two blister strips of Ramipril 10mg capsules were found by a healthcare professional.

If you take Crescent Pharma Limited Ramipril 2.5mg, check the packaging of your medicine for batch number GR155023. If your pack contains blister strips that are labelled as 10mg capsules, do not to take the medicine and contact your dispensing pharmacy.

If the carton contains blister strips that are correctly labelled as Crescent Pharma Limited Ramipril 2.5mg capsules, you do not need to take further action and should continue to take your medicine as usual.

If you have concerns about your medication or experience any suspected side effects, speak to your G.P. pharmacist or another healthcare professional.

If you believe that you have taken Ramipril 10mg capsules from the affected batch, please speak to your G.P. surgery, and if you are currently experiencing any side effects such as feeling lightheaded, faint or fatigued, please seek immediate medical advice.

URGENT MEDICINES RECALL NOTICE – SERTRALINE 100 mg (AMAROX)

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has issued a Class 2 recall for Sertraline 100 mg film-coated tablets (Amarox Limited) due to a packaging error.

Affected batch number: V2500425
Expiry date: 05/2028

Issue: Some packs may contain a blister strip of Citalopram 40 mg tablets instead of Sertraline.

What patients should do:
✔ Check the batch number on the side of your box
✔ Open the carton and check the blister strips are labelled Sertraline 100 mg
✘ If any blister strip is labelled Citalopram 40 mg, do not take it.

If you have any affected tablets, stop taking them immediately and return them to your pharmacy.

If you have taken tablets from an affected pack and feel unwell, please speak to a pharmacist, your GP or call NHS 111.

For further advice, speak to a member of our pharmacy team.

We are recruiting for Saturday staff.

Hours are every Saturday 8.30am - 12.30pm.

The role is for a Counter Assistant, taking in and handing out prescriptions, retail, stock management , clerical duties and dealing with queries.

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Training is required and will be provided.
