Things I DON’T recommend as a nutrition specialist 👇
❌ Cutting carbs
Carbs are not the enemy. Cutting them completely usually leads to low energy, cravings, poor workouts, and binge eating later on. Most people don’t need to remove carbs — they need better balance and portion control.
❌ Fad diets
If a diet is too restrictive to maintain long term, the results usually won’t last either. Quick fixes create quick rebounds. Sustainable habits will always beat extremes.
❌ Extreme calorie deficits
Eating as little as possible might work short term, but it often leads to low energy, constant hunger, poor recovery, mood changes, and loss of muscle. Your body needs fuel to function properly.
❌ Weight loss jabs without lifestyle changes
They may reduce appetite, but they don’t teach healthy habits. If nutrition, movement, sleep, and mindset aren’t improved alongside them, maintaining results can become difficult long term. Also, they will cause long term health issues!
❌ Listening to “influencer experts”
Just because someone looks fit online doesn’t mean they understand nutrition, hormones, behaviour change, or long-term health. Social media is full of unrealistic advice, quick fixes, and misinformation. Stop taking advice from people who profit from your insecurity.
The best results come from building habits you can actually stick to 🙌
Real food. Real balance. Real consistency.
