From 1 October, we’ll be offering NHS Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at Willand Pharmacy for those who are eligible.

Booking for the MenB vaccine is now open at Willand Pharmacy.

If you are aged 17 or 18, or starting university or eligible residential further education this autumn, you may be eligible for the MenB vaccine.

Two doses are required for full protection.

We’re here to help identify those in our community at risk of hypertension. Book an appointment or walk in to have your blood pressure checked, receive healthy living advice, and, if necessary, be referred to a healthcare professional.

👥 Who Can Access This NHS-funded Service?
- Adults 40+ without a hypertension diagnosis.
- Adults under 40 with a family history of hypertension (pharmacist discretion).
- Adults aged 35-39 who self-request (subject to pharmacist discretion and availability).

🚫 Exclusions: This service isn’t available for those already monitored by your local GP.

- Wear a hat and sunglasses.

- Seek shade when the sun is strongest.

- Use a broad-spectrum sun cream with a suitable SPF.Reapply regularly, especially after swimming, sweating, or towelling.
