Introducing Mr & Mrs Safe Tanning 2026 ✨
I absolutely LOVE this!
Iain and Christine are going on a Mediterranean cruise tomorrow morning...but Iain has a skin condition that means he cannot sit in the sun for any length of time.
He decided to try a Star spray-tan for the first time, and didn't mind me mentioning that he is now officially my oldest client ever, at the fine young age of 72...Dad, when you getting in my tent? 🙊 Richard Stewart ❤️
Iain was sprayed with shade 2, on a type 1, naturally pale skin-tone that tans easily.
Christine was sprayed with shade 1 on a type 2, medium skin tone that tans easily.
Christine has also just returned from Tenerife and so her natural melanin production will be more active. This means the final results will look darker than Iain's, even with a lighter shade used, as the Star products work with your own skin-tone to produce the most natural-looking results possible.
Getting a couples tan before an event, wedding , holiday, or just because...is just so cute 🥰
I designed the Star products to give people the ability to add some glow to their skin, without the risks of skin damage, irritation or skin cancers caused by UV exposure.
I have always promoted my product ranges as unisex, although the number of male clients is definitely a lot less than female.
Why? Because spray tans have been promoted as a feminine beauty treatment for decades, something only used by males when taking part in physique/gym progression photoshoots or competing in bodybuilding competitions.
I want to change that ideology. Ten years ago, men would never admit to using a sunbed. Now, they post themselves on Instagram during their sunbed session, like it's perfectly acceptable.
No lectures here...but why is it acceptable to risk skin cancer but it's not acceptable to get a NATURAL-LOOKING spray tan treatment applied to your skin that makes you look gorgeous and glowing for 9 days? 🤔
Grooms! Take note! When your beautiful bronzed bride walks down the aisle, she could either be looking at your wee purple tartan knees, or you could kick start your vows with a promise to never be peely wally again 🌝
