The hips are the hinge you move your whole life on. Which is exactly why they hold so much.

A stiff hip can be carrying four very different loads: grief you never got to finish, a decision you can't make, a survival response that never completed, or shame stored low in the pelvis. They are not the same problem, and they don't respond to the same care. Treating all four as one thing is a good part of why so much hip work doesn't stick.
