💜 What a lovely start to our new 5-week Baby Massage course on Friday! 💜

It was wonderful to meet so many lovely mums and their little ones and begin this special journey together. I'm already looking forward to watching the babies grow and develop over the coming weeks while building your confidence with baby massage.

One thing I always remind parents is that baby massage is a journey, not a race. It can take time for babies to become familiar with massage, especially when they're taking in so many new experiences. That's why I always recommend little and often—even a few minutes a day can make a big difference.

Thank you for such a lovely first session. I can't wait to see you all again on Friday! ✨

This is a video of how to find Elements Centre for Wellbeing if walking or if parking on Ridge Way and want to avoid the steps. Have a wee peek at my other video for parking suggestion on Ridge Way, any issues please contact me, Sandra x

Just thought it would be helpful to share a wee video showing how to find the studio ahead of our class today ✨

As it’s the first class in our 5-week course, I know some people might be unsure where Elements Centre for Wellbeing is located — especially when coming along with a little one. I know how it can feel when you’re not quite sure where you’re going.

This video shows where to park if you’re driving and how to get to the studio from there 🚗

If you’d rather avoid the steps, please check out my other video showing the walking route.

Apologies, I'm not great at videos!

Any issues at all, please just get in touch, Sandra💛

On Friday we did a full body recap of all the strokes we have learned throughout the course 🤍

It was also the final class of this lovely block, and all of the babies received a special completion certificate with their footprints 🥹

It has been such a wonderful group. From Week 1 to Week 5, I could really see such a difference in the babies — they were so relaxed and really enjoying their massage sessions. With mums continuing the massage at home each week, the babies became much more comfortable with a full body massage, which is something that naturally builds up over time. They all did amazingly well!!

I think some lovely friendships have been formed too, and that is exactly what The Lavender Circle is all about — connection, support, and finding your village 💜

Thank you all so much for joining me over the past 5 weeks. Hopefully I’ll see lots of you again soon at future classes and events💜

Baby Massage is the beautiful bridge between love & science 💜👶

A simple, gentle touch can do so much more than calm your baby. Baby massage can help with bonding, sleep, digestion and relaxation, while also supporting your baby’s growing brain and nervous system.

More than anything, it creates special moments of connection — helping your baby feel safe, loved and understood.

Sometimes the smallest moments mean the most ✨💜

Are you a new parent looking for a gentle, supportive baby class where you can truly relax and connect with other mums at the same stage as you? 💜

My next 5-week Baby Massage Course starts on 29th May at Elements Centre for Wellbeing — and this will be the last course before the summer holidays.

Come and join a warm, welcoming circle where you’ll learn simple, effective massage techniques to help support your baby with:

💜 Colic
💜 Digestion
💜 Teething
💜 Congestion
💜 Relaxation & sleep
💜 And so much more… the benefits really are endless ✨

Classes take place in a beautiful calming studio with billowing ceilings and soft mood lighting to help set the tone for you and your baby to unwind together.

Included in your course:
💜 Full course notes to support massage at home and in class
🥥 Kokoso organic coconut massage oil
☕ Herbal teas & coffee
🍪 Homemade nutritious flapjacks (and a chocolate biscuit or two if you’re feeling a little naughty!)
👣 A completion certificate with your baby’s footprint — a beautiful keepsake to treasure

This is a completely baby-led class, so please come exactly as you are. Feeding, cuddling, changing or settling your baby is always welcome here 💜 There’s absolutely no pressure if baby is crying or needs attention — you’ll still learn the strokes and can practice at home whenever baby is ready.

✨ Only a couple of spaces left ✨

Please share to any new mums you think would love this 💜

The babies are really starting to recognise and enjoy their massage routines now and they all did so well 💜 lots of smiles, relaxed little faces and happy babies by the end of class 🫶

Long before baby spas, white noise machines, and endless parenting hacks… parents around the world were simply using the power of touch. 🤍

For centuries, baby massage has been part of traditional practices across India, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific Islands — with cuddles, strokes, wiggles, and loving touch helping babies feel calm, safe, and connected. Tiny humans have always loved a good massage. 💆‍♀️👶

In the West, infant massage became more widely known in the 1970s thanks to Frederick Leboyer, who witnessed mothers massaging their babies in India and recognised the beautiful bond it created. Also inspired by these traditions, Vimala McClure helped bring infant massage into modern parenting and shared its benefits with families around the world.

At The Lavender Circle, we love keeping this ancient tradition alive — helping parents create moments filled with connection, calm, sleepy snuggles, and maybe even the occasional surprise baby giggle. 💜✨
