Hospice at Home provides free care and support to patients and families in the home. This page is managed by the Fundraising Team, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Hospice at Home is a local charity that provides high quality, specialised care for patients with life-limiting or life-threating illnesses, whilst also supporting their families and carers. The Charity's aim always has been – and always will be – to provide a choice at the end of life and enable a peaceful and dignified death at home. We are there for people at their most vulnerable and give comf

ort and reassurance when it is most needed. All of our services are free of charge to our patients their family and carers. This would not be possible without the kindness and generosity of the local community who raise funds and generate important awareness of the organisation. The charity receives a grant from the NHS which covers a small percentage of costs, and the rest needs to be raised within our local community.

⛳ A huge thank you to Mike Clementson, managing director at Claims Care Consultants, and Richie Armstrong, managing director at Independent Restoration Ltd, for their generous donation of £500 to Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland.

Mike and Richie kindly chose us as one of the beneficiaries of their annual golf day fundraiser this year, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.

Their donation will help us continue providing expert, compassionate care to local patients in the comfort of their own homes, while also supporting their families and loved ones.

💙 National Grief Awareness Day — 30 August

Grief is deeply personal. There is no right way to grieve, no set timeline and no need to face it alone.

Today, we remember those who are no longer with us and acknowledge everyone living with loss. We also recognise the friends, families, carers and professionals who offer comfort and understanding during the most difficult times.

If someone you know is grieving, a message, a listening ear or simply being there can mean more than you realise.

Please take a moment today to remember, reflect and reach out. 🌻
