New Beginnings

My name is Sarah, and I am “The Piercing Lady”. Before becoming a fully licensed body piercer I was managing a tattoo studio in Darlington, this is where I started piercing. Before that I worked for the NHS in Darlington Memorial Hospital; and before that I worked for Yorkshire Ambulance Service! Some may say its a big change in career lol, but it all involves needles, client care, confidentiality and of course infection and prevention control!

I can perform a wide variety of body piercings, but right now I am really enjoying “dressing” peoples ears! I really do love an ear project, and these types of piercings are becoming increasingly popular. If you are interested in ear piercings you may like to look up the likes of “Maria Tash” and check out the celebrities ears she has dressed! This is the type of work I love to do, so please get in touch if you’d like to plan your “curated ear”!

I only use single use sterile needles/blades/cannula. I will also only use medical grade Titanium for piercings. I NEVER use a piercing gun for any piercings, and I am very happy to answer any questions people may have about the needle method, and why it is a much safer practice.

I have been on Maternity Leave since February, and I am looking to get back into the swing of things slowly from July. I will be holding piercing sessions out of Rejoy, a Boutique Salon in Cockerton Village. I have been a client in the salon since it opened in Cockerton and I am so excited to be working from there. Erin, the owner, is incredible at what she does and the salon is amazing!
