A Strength In You delivers regulated First Aid at Work training for organisations and individuals who are required to appoint qualified First Aiders in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982.

📌Course Content Summary
Emergency First Aid Skills
Learners develop skills to:
• Assess emergency situations safely
• Perform CPR and use recovery position
• Assist choking casualties
• Control bleeding and manage shock
• Treat minor injuries and burns
• Manage seizures and unresponsive casualties
Workplace Injury and Illness Management
Training also covers:
• Secondary casualty assessment
• Bone, muscle and joint injuries
• Head, spinal and chest injuries
• Burns, scalds and eye injuries
• Poisoning incidents
• Anaphylaxis management
• Major illnesses including heart attack, stroke, asthma, seizures and diabetic emergencies
📍Entry Requirements
Minimum learner age for classroom attendance is 14 years.
We concentrate on smaller classroom training to ensure every student gets the attention and support to learn and be confident at their new skills.
