Friday Update!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wowsas!!!! What a fantastic week we have had!!!! Sometimes we wonder how we cram so much in yet here we are!!!! We have learnt new things and new skills and had a lot of fun doing it!

Our week was fabulous because we:

🪩 had a silent disco, dancing to all our favourite tunes
🗑️ had our Waste Not Want Not group
🧑‍🍳 had our Shop, Cook and Eat session
👩‍🍳 had our sensory cooking session
🎂 celebrated Sarah and Chantelle’s birthdays
📚 had our study group and basic skills lessons
🎭 had a drama session
📰 had our much loved news round
🧖 enjoyed our pamper session
🥰 helped and volunteered at AD with jobs that help to keep us running like clockwork! Photos show Rebecca dishing up lunch! Well done Rebecca 👏🏼
💪🏻 had gym sessions, exercise classes and sports in the sports hall
💡 enjoyed sensory sessions and the use of our amazing sensory room
🙌🏼 had fun with our friends!

Friday round-up (on a late Sunday evening.... Sorry)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hi all, we may only of had 3 days this week but we certainly managed to squeeze in so much

🩷Wednesday we had our lovely pampering session and our favourite part of a Wednesday.....News Round.everyone sharing what they have been up to this week.
🧑‍🍳We had a great waste not want not cooking session where our students made a delicious potato dish.
⚽we had our usual sports sessions where our students has so much fun.
🧘We have enjoyed a great chair based exercise session
🎶Our very popular music session was an Absolute blast this week but was made even more great because we had an amazing DJ, well-done Karla
🚂On Friday we rounded up our basic skills project on trains by having Ben read us one of his amazing adapted Thomas the Tank stories, followed by our students designing and making a model train out of cardboard. We also looked at some model trains Ben brought along to show.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend, we will see you all again from Monday for more fun and laughter

Date for your diary...... Friday 25th September 4pm-7pm our annual PROM. Invitations will be sent home this week.

Friday update!

Wow. What a fantastic week we have had!! The theme to explore this week was colour and every day was indeed filled with colour, brightness, sparkle and smiling faces! 🥰 🌈

Our week was amazing because we:
💡 had colour themed sensory, music, dance and exercise classes
🖼️ had colour themed arts and crafts sessions as well as key skills and basic skills session
🥰 explored our own self chosen activities to support achieving our goals
🥰 helped support the running of All Directions by volunteering in the kitchen, tea room and around the building and helping with the shopping at Bookers
🖼️ continued with our summer crafts and made the most amazing tie dye T-shirts
🎶 paid tribute to the incredible and must loved Dolly Parton by having many Dolly Parton sing-a-longs and western themed music sessions
🍔 had a yummy bbq followed by fruit skewers with melted chocolate 😋
📰 had our much loved news round and pamper session
🥳 celebrated Lisa’s birthday
🎭 had rehearsals for our show
🥇 had our much loved Friday raffle
💅 had our nails done by the amazing Sian!

Wow. What a week!!!! Now time for a rest before the week begins again!

Just a reminder, All directions is closed Monday for bank holiday Monday and also Tuesday for staff training! We will see you all on Wednesday!

Happy Monday Update!

Happy Monday everyone, we hope you’ve had a magical day as we have!! It’s been a day full of colour, fun, laughs, games, learning and friendships!

This Monday was magical because we:

🏏 played a variety of different sports in the garden such as cricket, football and badminton!
We love playing games together and enjoy celebrating our wins and celebrating others when they win! 🏆
🫖 made our own tea or coffee in Gordon’s kitchen and went into our snug for a chat and catch up with friends as well as enjoying some yummy biscuits!! 🍪
💡 had a colour sensory session with creating different coloured hand prints! We got out our parachute with different colour balls, Pom poms, scarves and ribbons and moved, danced and sang to colour themed songs!! Such a fun session with lots of happy faces!
🖼️ we made cards for different special people for special birthdays 🎂
🥇 we picked our own activities following our own interests and working towards meeting our own goals! 🥅
💡 had our sensory room open for everyone to use and enjoy! 😊
💪🏻 had an amazing chair exercise class
🗣️ enjoyed Time to Talk with our friends about our news and what’s important to us!!

Wow, what an amazing day!!!!!

This week you can expect:
🎂 celebrating more birthdays!!
🖼️ continuing with summer crafts- tie dye t shirts ! Please bring one if you have a spare but should wash before tie dye!
🥳 We will be having our end of Summer Party with foam and powder paint so be prepared if you want to get messy!!!! We will conclude with a BBQ!
🌈 The theme this week is lots of colour so let's enjoy!!!!!

Friday update!

One of AD’s most wonderful and busiest weeks full of fun, laughter, friendship, community and creativity!!!

Our week has been truly wonderful because we:

🎭 had a talent show where we all got the chance to perform our talents in front of everyone!!! We were all fantastic!!! ⭐ we really do have a very talented bunch at AD!!
🖼️ continued our fantastic summer crafts, including screen printing on different fabrics.
🥰 worked hard to fulfill our voluntary roles helping at AD!
🎪 had an amazing carnival themed day complete with carnival games, popcorn and candyfloss, music, singing and dancing! With a delicious hot dog and chips followed by a delicious ice cream from the ice cream man!!!! 🍦 A big thank you to Caroline who treated all students and staff to an 99!!! 😋
📚 had our amazing basic skills sessions!
💃 had our fantastic dance and exercise sessions!
💪🏻 had our fantastic gym and exercise sessions!

Wow, what a fantastic week, we’ve had a ball and now time for a restful weekend!!
