💚 Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

At Austen Allen Homecare, we understand that mental health is just as important as physical health. This week, we want to remind everyone that no one should ever feel alone in their struggles.

Our care team see every day how kindness, conversation, companionship, and support can make a real difference to someone’s wellbeing. Whether it’s checking in on a loved one, taking time to listen, or simply sharing a smile — small acts of care matter.

Let’s continue to break the stigma around mental health and encourage open conversations within our communities.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please remember: support is available, and it’s okay to ask for help. 💚

✨ What a day at the Care Show!

Yesterday, our CEO, Nina Allen, had the wonderful opportunity to be a guest speaker at the Care Show in Birmingham, discussing the funding challenges and opportunities for tech innovation in social care.

It was a fantastic platform to share the real-world challenges from a social care, SME and startup perspective, and she hopes she was able to spark a few ideas 💡 about how we can make innovation more accessible and impactful across the sector.

Nina would like to say a huge thank you to the brilliant senior executives at Access Care Management - Anisa Byrne, James Maynard, and Daniel Casson💚 — for facilitating such an insightful session, and to her fellow panel guests Trudie Fell and Kristoffer Kenttä for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.

It’s always inspiring to see so much passion for the future of care tech!
