There’s loads of opportunities to meet others, learn, and not feel like you’re doing everything on your own.

As we move through spring and look forward to summer, it’s worth asking a simple question:

“What have you got in the diary together that you’re really looking forward to?”

I spoke about this last year in a Medi8 , and it really stuck with me how often couples just don’t have anything planned to enjoy each others company.

When couples stop making plans together, life can start to feel like it’s just one thing after another. But when you do, even in small ways, it brings you back together and reminds you you’re on the same side, not just living parallel lives.

Over the past three years, we’ve seen first-hand the impact of the Build Your Business Programme delivered by BIPC Northamptonshire.

At its core, it’s about people with ideas, people taking a step into something new, and people building something that matters to them.

With support from West Northamptonshire Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, this programme has helped turn “I’ve been thinking about it” into “I’ve started”.

From a Medi8 perspective, that has really helped us on our journey and we are stronger for it.

The 2025 Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards meant a lot.

Medi8 Therapy was recognised as a finalist for the Equality & Diversity category. Then to top it off, I had the privilege of writing the winning application for the Apprentice of the Year Award.

Applications for the 2026 awards are open, and we’ll be putting ourselves forward, a bit wiser, a bit sharper, and with even more belief in what we’re building.

Let’s see where this year takes us.
