What a summer it has been. 🔥 🥵

The days are getting shorter now, and I m not sure if you feel the same, but I am ready to hibernate. 🦔

Some genuine apologies, before sharing some fab news and not so fab news.

I know a lot of our patient’s have been waiting to arrange their appointments at times for at least two weeks. I totally get, that that's a long time to be seen.

To reduce the wait time I am soooo delighted to inform you all that from November we will welcome another resident Optometrist to our wonderful team. This will hopefully significantly reduce your waiting time. Soooo, no excuse to have your eyes examined regularly. 🧐

THE FAVLB NEWS
Another fantastic announcement > Lydia is now a fully qualified Dispensing Optician. I don’t actually know if I mentioned this already 🤔🫣 We just cant talk enough about how proud of her we all are. WELL DONE, Lyd! 👩🏼‍🎓

In addition, we're all wishing our wonderful Scarlett who has now started her Dispensing Opticians course. Exciting times ahead. YOU CAN DO THIS !!! 🩵

NOT SO FAB NEWS 🥲
On a sad note, it's Jonty's last week. A venture that was meant to last around three months has turned into a year long success story. Being loved by our wonderful patients and creating true friendships with the team. He has been amazing, and we really wish him all the best... he knows he's always welcome to come back. ... for now it's time to spread wings. 🪽

When it comes to fishing lenses, you’ve probably heard that yellow is one of the most recommended tints.

But have you ever actually tested it yourself?

Grahame and I took the eyewear selection process to another level. Out on the lake, in real fishing conditions, testing and comparing a wide range of lenses to find the combination that performed best for him.

The aim? 👀
