If you're eligible, you can now get your free MenB vaccine.

MenB can cause serious illnesses like meningitis and septicaemia.

You may be eligible if you are:
✅ 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008
✅ Under 25 and starting university or moving into residential further education for the first time

Eligible 17 to 18-year-olds born between these dates can book online if they’re registered with a GP in England. Eligible under-25s can get vaccinated at a participating pharmacy – no GP registration is needed.

You'll need 2 doses, given at least 4 weeks apart, for the best protection.

💉 NHS MenB Vaccination Bookings Now Open!

Book your NHS MenB vaccination at Dawlish Warren Pharmacy today!

Appointments will be available from 21 July 2026.

MenB (Meningococcal B) can cause meningitis and sepsis, which can become serious very quickly. If you're eligible, getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to protect yourself before starting college or university.

Who is eligible?
✅ Young people in Year 13 (born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008)
✅ Young people born on or after 21 July 2001 starting university for the first time this autumn
✅ Young people born on or after 21 July 2001 moving into university halls or further education accommodation for the first time this autumn.

📅 Vaccinations begin on 21 July 2026.

🚨 Delivery Update – Live at Powderham 🚨

We hope everyone is staying well and hydrated in the hot weather.

Due to road closures for the Live at Powderham event, we may face difficulties delivering medications to the Kenn, Kennford and Exminster areas after 2:00pm.

We will do our best to deliver to the Kenn, Kennford and Exminster areas; however, deliveries cannot be guaranteed due to potential traffic disruption.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Live at Powderham will take place from Thursday 25 June to Sunday 28 June.
The A379 between Church Road / Red Lodge and The Strand as well as B-Roads surrounding this area will be closed to non-event traffic on concert days between 2:00pm and 1:00am.

Additionally a one-way system will be in operation between 9:00pm and 1:00am
- From the exit of Gold car park (just past the main entrance to Powderham Castle), down through Starcross towards Cockwood
- From New Road up Mamhead Road

Going out in the sun today?
• Stay out of direct sunshine, especially between 11am and 3pm, as UV rays are strongest during these hours
• If you’re going out during these times walk in the shade, apply sunscreen, wear a hat, sunglasses and light, loose-fitting, light-coloured clothes
• Apply sunscreen frequently of at least SPF 30 and 4 or 5 star ultraviolet A (UVA) protection regularly to exposed skin

🚧 Roadworks Update – Dawlish 🚧

Please kindly be informed that due to upcoming gas works and road closures in Dawlish (including Exeter Road and Elm Grove Road), there may be some delays to our delivery service over the coming weeks.

🚚 Our team will continue to do everything we can to minimise disruption and ensure your medications reach you as soon as possible. However, we kindly ask for your patience during this period.

📅 Works begin from 13 April, with traffic restrictions in place until early June.

💊 If you rely on deliveries, please consider ordering your prescriptions a little earlier than usual.
