A group of fundraisers and supporters of Breast Cancer Now, a national charity with the mission to change the lives of people affected by breast cancer through research, support, campaigns and fundraising.

Neil Banks has been clocking up miles in full fancy dress to support Breast Cancer Now, raising over ÂŁ6,000! đź’—

"It really has been one of the most personally rewarding things I’ve ever done. Money raised aside (which I’m absolutely blown away by), the positivity it has created within the community, alongside helping to spread awareness of the fantastic work Breast Cancer Now does, has genuinely been incredible.

It has actually got me thinking that this may need to become a yearly event moving forward!

From a selfish point of view, seeing the pride on my mum’s face throughout the challenge would have made it all worthwhile anyway. After all, she was the inspiration behind the whole thing."

Friday 23 October 2026 to St Margaret’s Village Hall, Reach Road, St Margaret’s at Cliff, CT15 6AP. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. And don't forget it’s Wear It Pink day - there’ll be a special prize for the best pink outfit!

Daniela is walking 100 miles in October for , a charity very close to her heart with her sister current receiving treatment for metastatic triple negative breast cancer.

And she's sending out an invite for you to get on those walking shoes and best pinks, and join her in clocking up some more miles on 23 Oct at 17:00 in Gillingham Park. What better way to mark !
