Gwasanaeth Celfyddydau Sir Ddinbych / Denbighshire Arts Service

Mae Gwasanaeth Celfyddydau Sir Ddinbych wedi cydweithio gyda’r Gwasanaeth Ieuenctid ac Ysgol Clawdd Offa ar brosiect celf yn canolbwyntio ar drawsnewid ac ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar. Bu i artistiaid Jude Wood a Sara Jane Harper weithio gyda disgyblion blwyddyn 6, gan weithio’n greadigol i ymdrin â’u symud buan i ysgol uwchradd. Mae arddangosfa o’u gwaith ym Mharc Gwledig Loggerheads tan fis Ebrill.

Denbighshire Arts Service collaborated with the Youth Service and with Ysgol Clawdd Offa on an arts project focussing on transition and mindfulness. Artists Jude Wood and Sara Jane Harper worked with year 6 pupils, working creatively to address their forthcoming move to high school. An exhibition of their work is on at Loggerheads Country Park until April.

Artist Katie Scarlett Howard is currently working with Ysgol Llannefydd, Ysgol Henllan, Ysgol Melyd, Ysgol Bryn Clwyd, Ysgol Pendref and Ysgol Pant Pastynog, on a special project in partnership with Llaeth y Llan and Arts & Business. The pupils are creating ceramic tiles based on the dairy industry as well as the once thriving yet little known tapestry garment making industry of Denbigh. Each of the tiles will be linked together to form a ceramic tapestry wall instillation. All six tapestries from the six schools with then form an exhibition at the new Visitor’s Centre at LLaeth y LLan, before embarking on a nationwide tour before being returned to the schools as a lasting legacy.

Ruthin's Lost in Art group celebrated their most recent project with a pop up exhibition of their work on March 14th.

Tir Morfa School – Criw Celf masterclasses

Pupils following the Entry Level Qualification Pathway at Ysgol Tir Morfa have worked with artists Wendy Lawrence, Katie Scarlett Howard, Mandy Coates and Ruth Thomas over the past few months, creating work in the discipline of each artist. They also visited Ruthin Craft Centre, where they learnt about gallery exhibitions and on March 23rd, celebrated their work with their own pop-up exhibition.

Mae disgyblion sy'n dilyn y Llwybr Cymhwyster Lefel Mynediad yn Ysgol Tir Morfa, wedi gweithio gydag yr artistiaid Wendy Lawrence, Katie Scarlett Howard, Mandy Coates a Ruth Thomas dros yr ychydig fisoedd diwethaf, gan greu gwaith yn null yr artistiaid hynny. Maent hefyd wedi ymweld â Chanolfan Grefft Rhuthunac ar Fawrth 23 buont yn dathlu eu gwaith gyda'u arddangosfa pop-up eu hunain.

Criw Celf

Denbighshire's Year 7 Criw Celf group worked with artist Ruth Thomas at Trefnant Village Hall on Saturday 19 March. After making a series of stencils of birds and fish, they used the printing presses to create a series of prints.

Lost in Art is a visual arts project for people living with dementia and their carers. A group meets every Monday afternoon at Ruthin Craft Centre and they recently went on a trip to the gallery at Theatr Clwyd, Mold.

Mae Ymgolli mewn Celf yn brosiect celf gweledol i bobl sy'n byw gyda dementia a'u gofalwyr. Mae grŵp yn cyfarfod bob prynhawn dydd Llun yng Nghanolfan Grefft Rhuthun ac yn ddiweddar aethant ar daith i'r oriel yn Theatr Clwyd, yr Wyddgrug.
