One of my favourite things is seeing people do well.
I love stories about local people making a success of a hobby or a small business, and the good feels are even stronger if in some small way, I'm able to help that person along!

That's why I'm delighted to have created a little space for one of my lovely ladies to sell some of her gorgeous clay crafts, earrings, necklaces, and the most adorable noughts and crosses travel sets, all here in the shop!

If you fancy a peruse or a purchase when you are at your appointment, I'm sure she would appreciate any support (if there's anything left once I've done the christmas stocking fillers haul of course ๐Ÿคฃ).

A very happy Tuesday to you all ๐Ÿ’“

Monday again, and although there have been bits and bobs of working, I'm STILL finding time to fill my cup like I promised myself (5 weeks in now gang!!!)

Today, I had a 121 training session with the lovely Nicole, I'm trying hard to find ways to nourish and support my body as it moves through perimenopause in the hope of a smoother transition ๐Ÿ’•โœŒ๏ธ

I also had my cup filled by the cutest little canine visitor, who was the bestest boy on his Jack Skellington blanket whilst his mummy had a treatment.

Aren't dogs the best?

As an aside, if you do have any form of assistance or therapy dog, or you just want your buddy present with you at The Soul Prescription, you are more than welcome, just let us know! (Something I forgot on my 'things about us post')

A lil post to put your mind at ease, you lovely lot!

I've had a few people ask me if they booked in with Alex on a Sunday or Monday if I'd be offended by it, I love that this even crosses your minds, but I CATEGORICALLY would never be offended and here are just a few reasons why....

1) Although he's a six foot plus man with a child of his own to you guys, to me, he's my baby, I'd use my last breath to tell him how much I love him, seeing him flourish and do well in life is all I want for him as his mama.

2) As we've explored, treatments with a male therapist, and the safe masculine energy that offers, is an entirely different experience to a treatment with me, and a balance of both can be a beautiful thing.

3) Alex works opposite days to me, and, if those days suit you better, then it would make perfect sense for you to book in and make your life easier.

4) Alex and I are working behind the scenes, building his skillset so he can bring more treatments to you, this will mean more availability for appointments, and, if I am ever away or sick, Alex will be able to take the wheel, again, meaning more availability and options for you gorgeous lot if you've already had the pleasure of his company.

Alex is part of the very essence of The Soul Prescription, and when I'm too old to get that elbow in (hopefully donkeys years away yet though!) he will likely be the captain of this quirky old ship.

I love, appreciate, and am forever taken aback by the support you all give to me and my boy, please always know your choices here at The SP are always supported.

We love you all ###x

You don't need to feel ready, you just need to feel curious!

This Sunday is for new experiences and taking a giant step out of the comfort zone for Mia at the climbing walls.

'Feel the fear and do it anyway' would honestly be part of my family crest if I designed one ๐Ÿคฃ

A Sunday reminder that whatever it is, whatever life brings you, you can be scared, terrified even, and still say YES....because there could be a whole new version of you that you didnt know existed on the other side of that yes โœจ๏ธ

I love me a sunflower, they are just so pretty, and, I always think, an 'optimistic' flower, as wherever they are they will always turn toward the sun. A good metaphor I think for looking for the light in darker times.

Sunflowers hang on to the bitter end, goddess bless them, drinking in the very last drops of the summer (bit like myself there, refusing the light jacket and still hoping for one more day in a vest top!)

A sunflower meditation is a really lovely way to ground into the now, it can help with the softer transition into the early autumn.

Find a sunflower, or buy one, hold it in your hands (don't pick it if it is still growing) and 'feel' into it's energy.

Maybe you can imagine that energy as a golden light, warm, positive, and uplifting.

Imagine drawing that light, the essence of summer, and it's warmth into your own body, keeping it in your heart space so that you can call on that energy whenever you need it to help you through the darker half of the year.

Give thanks โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒป

Which boundaries are you carrying into your weekend?

"No thank you, I'm having a chilled weekend but thank you for inviting me "

"I'll respond to my email during working hours"

"My phone will be off this Sunday so I can be present with my family"

Here's a few ideas to start you off if you need inspo or find this stuff tough (I know I do!)

Any other ideas are welcome, please share in the comments ๐Ÿ˜Š

One of the MANY things I love about animals, is their absolute impeccable instinct.

They don't care what car you drive, how much you make, whether you've made mistakes in the past, if you have gained 10lb, or your hair looks like a Blackpool clown wig that day.....

They FEEL your energy, and go with that, they know if you make them feel safe.

I think sometimes we could all do with being a lil more 'animal' and let that base instinct guide us more than we do.
We are quite ofren shaped by environment and societal dictations rather than that wibbly wobbly belly feeling we get when our inner knowing is trying to fight past all that and guide us.

Don't underestimate your instincts, your nervous system still tries to guide you toward safety, your gut knows energy.

Apparently, the girls think I'm super safe, either that or they are loitering for food, we will never know if its cupboard love or if my energy is top notch haha

Have a beautiful day, and if your belly tries to guide you (not just for your lunch choices!) Let it!

The 1st of the month and time to get some cinnamon blown through the front door to invite in abundance and prosperity for the month ahead!

I know many of you are excited for the coming autumnal months and already have your pumpkin candles and bed socks at the ready, however, I'm still clinging to the hope that the sun god does one ladt round and we get a sunny September!

Whatever the month holds, I wish you all bright blessings and good energy in abundance ###

It's monday again, and despite there being a ton of boring jobs to do at home, I chose to take the opportunity for some family time and make the most of a full day off, I also had a go at two activities I've never tried before, knife throwing, and cross bows....
Nobody need fret for their safety, I'm not particularly good at either, but I do love a big juicy step out of my comfort zone experiencing new things!

How have you bank holiday'd? I hope you've left your boring tasks alone and done something that makes your soul smile instead ๐Ÿ˜Š

Sunday, and feeling nostalgic!

Last night my eldest daughter took my youngest to her first gig ๐ŸŽธ

It doesn't feel 5 minutes ago since I took my little sister age 16 to her first proper gig to see the Prodigy, a mere 17 years ago ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Core memories being made right there ๐Ÿซถ

I love Sunday's for nostalgia, the smell of cooking something that reminds you of your nan way back when, a film you watched as a child, or a Sunday tradition you've kept hold of since childhood....

What's your fave piece of Sunday nostalgia?
