Amber Lodge Nursing Home Amber Lodge Nursing Home is a purpose built, 40 bedded care home with Nursing on Osmaston Road in Derby.

The home provides care and support to adults living with dementia or that may have a Physical Disability. Our experienced team of nurses and care staff will ensure that all residents’ needs are met, however big or small.

Our residents made the most of the beautiful sunshine today by spending quality time out in the garden 🌼☀️

From planting and gardening to simply relaxing outdoors, everyone thoroughly enjoyed breathing in the fresh air and soaking up the warm weather. Residents also enjoyed having their lunch outside in the sunshine whilst chatting, laughing, and making lovely memories together 🪴🥗❤️

Today our home was filled with comfort, laughter, and plenty of cosy vibes as both staff and residents came together to support Pyjama Day! 💤❤️

From fluffy slippers to colourful pyjamas, everyone joined in the fun and enjoyed spending the day relaxed, smiling, and making wonderful memories together ☁️😊

It was lovely to see so much participation and togetherness throughout the day, bringing warmth and happiness to our home while supporting a great cause 🌟

A huge congratulations to Jane, Dalia’s daughter, who was the lucky winner of our “Guess the Name of the Bear” competition! 🧸🎉

Jane is now the proud new owner of Chloe the Capybara, and we hope she enjoys her cuddly new friend! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who took part and joined in the fun. It was lovely seeing so many guesses and smiles throughout the competition also a massive thankyou to all who donated towards the competition as we managed to raise £33 pounds towards residents funds 🌟

The smiles said it all yesterday as our residents thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of wonderful live entertainment from Shades of Grey Tony! 🎤❤️

From singing along to tapping feet and sharing laughter together, the atmosphere was filled with happiness, energy, and joy. Moments like these truly brighten everyone’s day and create special memories for our residents to cherish 🥰

Live entertainment is such a fantastic way to bring people together, lift spirits, and fill the home with positivity, and yesterday certainly did just that! 🌟

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming our newest furry visitor, Lulu the therapy dog 🐶💛

Lulu spent time with our residents bringing plenty of smiles, cuddles, comfort, and happiness along the way. From gentle strokes to lovely little chats, she certainly made a pawsitive impact on everyone she met! 🐾

Animal therapy can bring so much joy and emotional wellbeing, and it was beautiful to see the residents light up in Lulu’s company. We can already tell she’s going to be a very loved visitor here at the home 🥰

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of Bingo today filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of lucky wins 🌟

The room was buzzing with excitement as numbers were called, prizes were won, and residents cheered each other on with huge smiles and lots of giggles 😊💖

Activities like these bring everyone together, creating joyful moments, wonderful memories, and a whole lot of happiness here at Amber Lodge 🏡✨

Today our residents had an amazing time with Kian from Superstar Sports who brought so much energy, fun, and laughter to Amber Lodge ⚽🎉

Residents thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in the activities, sharing smiles, cheering each other on, and enjoying a fantastic afternoon full of positivity and movement 💙

It was wonderful to see so much engagement, confidence, and happiness throughout the session. Thank you Kian for bringing such uplifting energy and creating special moments for our residents today 🌟😊

Today our lovely residents enjoyed a relaxing Hand Therapy Session full of pampering, gentle care, and special moments 💆‍♀️💖

Residents were treated to soothing hand massages, hand care, and calming words of affirmation gifted at the end of the session. The smiles, laughter, and emotional moments shared truly warmed our hearts 🥹🌷

It was beautiful to see residents feeling relaxed, valued, and uplifted whilst enjoying some well deserved TLC. Small acts of kindness really do create the biggest smiles ✨

A wonderful afternoon filled with comfort, connection, and happiness here at Amber Lodge 🩷
