About Marta Perestrello
I graduated from the University of Derby with masters in Art Therapy (2009) and took a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Supervision (2015). Along my academic training I continue my professional development in many areas of science, psychology, psychotherapy and art. I am passionate about giving children and young people a voice and helping them develop skills to grow st

rong, to learn to master their strengths in order to live their lives to the full. I work with children and young people, but I also support their parents/guardians as well as all professionals working with and caring for them; through consultation, supervision and training. Having worked in therapeutic residential care for over 7 years, I’ve now developed a private practice service taking in referral from the general public, social services, schools and other psychotherapists. Are you interested in being part of a supportive space to connect, reflect, and grow with fellow therapists and counsellors? We give so much of ourselves to others, it is important to also come together to recharge, reflect, and support each another and our practices in a safe and nurturing community. The "Coming Together Group" is designed to provide a regular and supportive space where you can connect with like-minded professionals. In these monthly events, we’ll address the unique challenges of clinical practice while focusing on self-care and professional development. Whether you're looking to manage stress, deepen your skills, or build meaningful professional connections, these groups are here for you.
