❤️ FIVE STONE, FND, FEAR, FRIENDSHIP & FINDING FOREVER ❤️

15½ years ago, I became a Slimming World Consultant. I never imagined that one decision would change my life so completely.

5 stone weightloss and reached Target, but Slimming World has given me so much more than weight loss. It’s given me confidence, friendships, a community, a career I love — and something I never expected… my husband, Danny! 🥰

Danny joined my group as a member, our friendship grew into love, and I eventually married my best friend. ❤️ And the sweetest part? He still comes to my group today!

My journey hasn’t always been easy. Almost 7 years ago I was diagnosed with FND, and I’ve experienced difficult relapses that have affected my mobility and everyday life. I’ve needed crutches and walking aids, and some days simply getting through the day has been an achievement.

I’ve also faced the frightening experience of finding a lump in my neck, believing it could be lymphoma, followed by surgery, tests and scans.
Through the difficult times, my family and my Slimming World members have supported me with messages, hugs, kindness and laughter. That’s when you realise a Slimming World group is so much more than getting weighed.

It’s a community. ❤️
I believe healthy eating should fit around real life — enjoying delicious food, including healthy fats, celebrating birthdays and holidays, and yes… sometimes having the cake! 😂
And reaching Target isn’t the finish line. Life happens. We have good weeks and bad weeks. The important thing is knowing you can always start again.
