✨️ ​A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our 'Tea & Talk' service this evening, and last Monday, as part of 'Mental Health Awareness Week'.

​Taking the time share a cup of tea, and engage in open, honest conversations isn't always easy, but it is so incredibly important.

We are so grateful for the warmth, vulnerability, and honesty everyone brought to the table and everyone went away with better knowledge of the support that is out there, and available at our premises, and where journeys of support & recovery have already begun.

​Remember, you don't have to walk your path alone. Every conversation you share is a step closer to where you need to be.

​💬 Missed these sessions? Don't worry! Keep an eye on our page for details on our next 'Tea & Talk' evenings as these evenings proved popular & so helpfull we shall host them more often going forward. We’d love to save a cup for you!

🤔 How does our 'Tea & Talk' service make a difference?

Following up from last Monday's session, the conversations that took place resulted in three people starting Counselling sessions at the Mental Health Path, another has been referred to an addiction clinic and immediatly begun thier recovery process, another has been referred to a local organisation for specific issues, that the organisation specialises in, and also begun their healing journey, two others have booked a Reflexology session at the Mental Health Path and two availed of Ear Acupuncture on site on the day. This evening was as busy and helpfull as last week ✨️

All amazing people for being brave to share their stories, over these two Monday's with us, and for reaching out for help & assistance. We are delighted to be able to be trusted to provide a listening ear and offer support that was welcomed and appreciated by all 🫶

ℹ️ At 'The Mental Health Path' we are proud to have several qualified & experienced Mental Health Counsellors, onsite, and Holistic Therapists that, together, provide a high level of daily Individual & Relationship Counselling Support, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Ear Acupuncture, Meditation, Group Work and Breathwork sessions all here at Unit 5.

If you're feeling frustrated that today feels harder than yesterday, here is you're gentle reminder that "healing is not Linear"

Why up's & down's are normal;

* The "Two steps forward, one step back" rule: Growth often requires visiting old habits to prove to yourself that you've outgrown them.

* Capacity fluctuates: Some days you have the energy to tackle the world, other days "winning" is just making it through the morning. Both are valid.

* A bad day doesn't erase all the good days that came before it: You aren't back at square one, you're just navigating a curve in the road. Take a breath, be kind to yourself, and remember that even on the days you feel like you're standing still, your heart is still doing the heavy lifting of healing 🤍
