Maidstone Tattoo Extravaganza a yearly event, Held over the Easter bank Holidays Open from Saturday at 9am with pre paid tickets and closes Bank Holiday Monday, Each year we try and get as many artists as possible to join us and show off what they can do. rk whilst we have live music and entertainment playing on a stage, with trade stands around selling wonderful items its been a difficult year for everyone so the next MTE show is now 2021 Easter Weekend, get set to help all the artists traders and the show itself make a great comeback after 2020 pandemic.

After years of building the Maidstone Tattoo Extravaganza and growing an amazing community around the event, I’m proud to officially announce a brand new chapter…

Welcome to the NEWMARKET TATTOO CONVENTION 2027 🐎🖤

Before anybody asks — yes, the Maidstone Tattoo Extravaganza will absolutely still continue each year. This is not replacing it. Newmarket is a completely separate event created alongside it.

The Newmarket Tattoo Convention will take place on:

📅 24TH & 25TH JULY 2027

📍 Newmarket Racecourse

This event is being created by the same people behind Maidstone Tattoo
Extravaganza, bringing the same artist-focused atmosphere, passion, and community spirit to a brand new location.
The aim is simple: To create a weekend that brings together talented artists, quality traders, and people who genuinely love tattoo culture.

⚡ A welcoming atmosphere for everybody

Now it's quiet and I have got everything packed away I've just been reading the messages from so many expressing how good this year's event was, the comments are constantly positive which is really great to hear, I work for every artist and trader to make this the best it can be, every person that walks through the door and buys a ticket matters so I'm so grateful for the support and every time I'm blown away, just saw the views had hit over a million that's unbelievable truly amazing thank you to you all. I'll be getting things ready for next year soon enough so watch out as booking forms will be available to do it all again for 2027 which is ten years since we started this amazing event.

And just like that… it’s over. 🖤

The halls are quiet again, the machines have stopped, and all that’s left are the memories… and what a weekend it’s been.

This one felt special. Every laugh, every conversation, every piece of art created — you could feel it. The passion, the graft, the love for this industry all under one roof. It’s something that’s hard to put into words, but you all made it what it was.

To everyone who walked through those doors, supported the artists, got tattooed, brought friends, or just came to be part of it… thank you. Truly. It means more than you probably realise.

To the artists and traders — you are the heart of this show. The trust you put in us to build something worth your time never goes unnoticed. You brought the talent, the energy, and the soul.

And to the team behind the scenes… we couldn’t do this without you.

It’s hard saying goodbye, even if it’s only for now.

But this isn’t the end — it never is.
