People often ask me, "What exactly is kinesiology?"
The simplest answer is that it is a holistic approach to understanding health and wellbeing. It looks at the whole person rather than focusing on just one symptom or part of the body.
Using gentle muscle monitoring, kinesiology helps identify where the body may be under stress and what may be contributing to that imbalance. From there, a range of natural techniques can be used to support the body's own ability to restore balance.
Every person is different, which is why no two kinesiology sessions are exactly the same. A session is tailored to the individual, taking into account their unique circumstances and priorities.
For me, one of the most fascinating aspects of kinesiology is that it encourages us to see health in a broader way, recognising the connections between our physical body, nutrition, emotions and energy. It is this whole-person approach that makes kinesiology such a rewarding therapy to practise and to experience.
