Hello!
My name is Connie and I am a fully qualified and fully insured reflexologist. I am also full member of Association of Reflexologists.
So, what is reflexology and how could you benefit from a treatment?
Well, reflexology is a complimentary therapy based on the theory that certain points (reflexes) in the feet, hands, face or ears correspond to various organs and systems within the body. Applying gentle pressure to the reflexes can encourage changes in the corresponding organ or system.
There are various potential benefits to having a reflexology treatment which include:
*Deep relaxation and stress reduction
*Improved sleep quality
*Enhanced immune function
*Pain management
*Improved circulation
*Improved digestive health
And what happens at a reflexology appointment?
Well if it is your first appointment we will begin with a 10–15 minute free consultation, where I will ask questions about your medical history to assess whether reflexology is right for you. Reflexology is a safe therapy that is suitable for most people but there are some exceptions.
As I offer foot reflexology you will only need to take off your shoes and socks. I will start with a massage before beginning the reflexology treatment. And don’t worry, it shouldn’t feel tickly even if you normally have ticklish feet! In fact, most people find it incredibly relaxing and even fall asleep.
I can offer treatments both in the comfort of your own home or in the treatment room in my home. There are pros and cons to both, for example, if I come to you, then you do not have to worry about travelling or driving back home after having a very relaxing reflexology session. But on the other hand, you might feel more able to relax in my treatment room, away from your family and awaiting chores!
A 1 hour treatment is £40 (first treatment approximately 1 hour 15 minutes)
So if you would like to give reflexology a try or have any questions just drop me message and I'll get back to you.
