Welcoming the longest day of the year with a sunrise Labyrinth..✨✨✨
If you’re around Millisle over the next few hours and you’d like a mindful moment, please feel free to wander around the labyrinth! You’ll find it on the beach around the middle of the big car park 🙂🌀
There’s no special equipment or experience required.. just follow the path.. it will bring you to the centre. Pause there as long as you like, then make your way back along the path to where you began. If you’d like company or assistance please reach out! Wishing you all Solstice blessings! ✨✨🌀🌀💜

Have you walked one of our pop up labyrinths? Did you or your children love it?
The Ards and North Down Borough Council are having a drop in consultation session today all about Ward Park! 🦆🦢🛝🏃🏃‍♀️
And we need you to pop in and tell them all about Labyrinths! 💫
Ward Park is absolutely brilliant in every way but we would love to put it on the map by getting it the first outdoor public labyrinth in NI.
How fabulous would that be!?
This is your chance to share your stories about how you experienced the labyrinth and your thoughts on how it might impact particular groups or individuals?
Your voice matters so much in influencing decisions and for that we are so grateful!
So if you happen to be down that neck of the woods do pop into the library and tell them your labyrinth love story!

Pop along to Bangor Carnegie Library on Saturday 20 June and find out more about the £5.5M Ward Park Environmental Improvement Scheme due to begin later this year. Plans will be on display and Council officers and the contractor will be there to answer your questions. Earlier today, my daughter and I were down in Ward Park enjoying a coffee and supporting all the runners taking part in the "Nowhere to Run 5K" – an event organised to raise awareness and vital funds for organisations on the frontline of tackling domestic abuse and supporting victims and survivors.

While we were there, we came across The Labyrinth Collective, who were hosting a pop-up event for participants and supporters of the 5K. The experience offered an opportunity to reflect on and honour those impacted by domestic and sexual violence.

My daughter and I were invited to choose an object and walk through the labyrinth towards its centre. The object represented a worry or burden, and upon reaching the centre, we left it behind before making our way back out. It was a simple but powerful experience with a really positive message.

We both loved the concept and the atmosphere surrounding it so much that I nipped back to the car to grab my drone and capture a few photographs of the labyrinth and the event.

An amazing morning spent building and facilitating (with loads of help ) the Scarf labyrinth in Ward park for the participants, supporters and organisers of North Down & Ards Women's Aid-028 91273196 and Men's Advisory Project annual 5k run!
Well done all who ran/walked! 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
