After more than 60 years of supporting cancer care across our region, Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust is closing as a registered charity.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to every single supporter, volunteer and donor who has helped us improve lives and bring hope to thousands of families.

From funding cutting-edge scanning equipment to supporting early cancer detection and diagnosis, your generosity has made an extraordinary impact.

A dedicated fund within the DBTH Charity will continue to raise money for cancer detection, innovative equipment, and life-saving treatment across Doncaster and Bassetlaw.

DCDT Making a Difference in Doncaster. We're proud to be part of the fight against liver disease by donating a £92,000 Fibroscanner to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. With chronic liver disease on the rise, early diagnosis is crucial. This advanced technology will help identify issues swiftly and pave the way for timely treatment.

Exciting News! This 'Love your liver' month, we are thrilled to share that we've donated a Fibroscanner (£92k) to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. This state-of-the-art technology allows for non-invasive, painless liver scans in less than ten minutes. Up to 55,000 patients in Doncaster could benefit from this incredible contribution!

Today, we'd like to celebrate all radiographers, sonographers, mammographers, technicians and administrators across all of our sites and say a big thank you for always going above and beyond.

The job of a radiographer is complex and challenging, whether that’s undertaking imaging of routine patients or major trauma from patients of every walk of life, young to old. Without these vital services our hospitals wouldn't function.

In May we received £1,000 donation from Stuart Walker, operator of The Doncaster Warehouse. He held a charity memorial event as a mark of respect for his former landlord, Graham Rhoden, who recently passed away.

The event was attended by Graham’s family and friends as well as local clubbing people from years gone by. The event was a great success which raised over £3,000 for local groups, one of which was DCDT.

We are very grateful to Stuart and all who attended the event.
Our deepest condolences go to Graham’s family and friends as he was a very well known and respected local businessman 💜
