Sadly , after many years, the Dorchester FAB group is coming to a close. We have truly loved meeting and supporting so many families, you are awesome!

We will be running and offering support until the end of August so do please come on 17th, 24th and 31st August if you need at our usual time 10.30-12.

On the 31st August we will also have a goodbye celebration - all supporters and families past and present are more than welcome, we’d love to see you.

Families and Babies - FAB South West continues in other areas of Dorset including Blandford, Wareham and Bovington and in their online support group https://www.facebook.com/FABDORSET. Breastfeeding Network https://www.facebook.com/bfndorset continue to run an infant feeding group from Dorchester Library family Hub on Thursdays 10 - 11.30 (usually in term time) and have other groups across Dorset including Weymouth and Sherborne.

Directions: From Lubbecke Way, take the first turning on the right - before the ambulance station. Park anywhere in the main carpark for Dorset Community and Youth Centre, or drive through to the smaller section right outside the front door. (It's not the Youth Association building, which is further down the same road!)

Dorchester Breastfeeding Group is on today as usual between 10.30 and 12. Pop along to Dorchester Youth & Community Centre to meet others, chat and get free breastfeeding support if you need it. Older siblings, as always, are more than welcome and we have plenty of toys, games and space.

We are a very relaxed, free, informal baby group where parents can chat, are offered a cup of tea and a biscuit and babies and older children can play. Trained peer supporters are available to listen and support with breastfeeding when needed 🙂

Are you pregnant and planning to breastfeed or want to know more? Coming along to the group can be a great way to meet other parents, ask questions and find out where to come if you did need any support later on. Pop in anytime to say hello!

We support and celebrate all aspects of your breastfeeding journey whatever that may look like for you; if you’re feeding a 2 week old or a 2 year old, if you’re exclusively pumping or exclusively breastfeeding, or if you'd just like to know more about breastfeeding. Come along and say hello!
