🌿Support your gut health with this delicious tofu scramble brunch served with sourdough toast (seedy)

Mushrooms fried in Extra virgin olive oil, herbs de provence, paprika and black pepper, add the Tofu scramble, I love once warm through and when on your plate add a good drizzle of excellent quality extra virgin olive oil, is my go too, add pepper and paprika to taste, nutritional yeast (great B12 source)
Organic Parmesan from Riverford great for beneficial microbes. Serve with raw kimchi, I use

🌿Why I created Nourish & Rebalance at The Wellbeing Room Dorchester🌿

Throughout my work in health and wellbeing, I've seen the value of creating spaces where people can step out of their daily routines and focus on themselves for a while.

I've experienced it myself through retreats and wellbeing gatherings, and I've also had the privilege of supporting others in those environments over the years.

People often leave feeling refreshed, inspired, more connected to themselves and reminded of what truly supports their wellbeing.

That experience has inspired Nourish & Rebalance at The Wellbeing Room in Dorchester.

A small weekly wellbeing circle where we'll explore nutrition, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing and self-care in a supportive and welcoming environment.

A space to pause, reflect, learn, connect and prioritise your wellbeing for a little while each week.

Because wellbeing isn't just about what we eat. It's about how we live, how we feel and how we care for ourselves as a whole.

🌿This week I turned 45🥳🌿

I felt a deep gratitude to be here, I let that drop...fully.

I am so deeply grateful to be blessed in my 45th year.

My life has not always been easy, I have really struggled with my mental and physical health at times, it's been a real battle some days to even function or not be in pain.

Yet each new day I find another reason to be grateful,  a new inspiration in life, to be even more loving, joyful, peaceful, playful, open and honest.

🫶🏽Some things I have taken into my 45th year🫶🏽

🪷 You don't have to do everything, something is enough.

🪷 It doesn't have to be perfect, period.

🪷 Life is to be lived not performed

🪷 Joy is for everyone, so spread love and kindness

🪷 Abundance is everywhere, you just have to see it.

🪷 Nature is your companion, love it, care for it and spend time in it.

🪷 We are not here forever, each day is precious.

🪷 The people you love matter, let them know that.

🪷 Your house is allowed to be messy, it doesn't have to be gleaming to be home.

🪷 Sometimes just saying no is a act of self-care.

🪷 You won't be liked by everyone and that is ok, because others judgment doesn't define you.

🪷 We are all just trying to make sense of a world that is essentially a spinning ball in a vast somethingness, 🌏 now thats wild🤔

🌿Mental Health Awareness Week🌿

This feels like an important time for me to speak openly about this, not only as a Nutrition & Wellbeing Practitioner, but as a woman who has personally experienced how debilitating mental health struggles can be.

I know what it feels like for severe anxiety, depression and emotional overwhelm to affect every part of your existence, I too have gone through my own painful journey, at times saw no end or way life could be different, this was my experience and my drive to support others going through similar.

I became a Nutrition and Wellbeing Practitioner in 2018, to give back to others, something I once needed myself.

My passion is to normalise open and honest discussions, create a non judgemental space and somewhere people can just say I need to speak, please hear me.

Whatever you are going through right now, please reach out to a friend, family member or professional support.

🌿 Blue Zone inspired nourishment 🌿

Simple meals can still be deeply nourishing.

Today’s bowl was inspired by some of the eating patterns often seen in Blue Zone communities, places around the world linked with longevity, connection and wellbeing.

🥕 Vegetables
🫘 Mixed beans
🫒 Extra virgin olive oil
🍋 Lemon & herbs
🌱 Fibre, colour, flavour and simplicity

Nourishment doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it looks like simple ingredients, colour, flavour and slowing down enough to enjoy them.

I support clients in moving away from restriction, calorie counting and guilt towards a more supportive, sustainable and connected relationship with food and wellbeing 🌿🍋

A gentle reminder…

If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed,
it might not be a lack of motivation.

It might be that your plan doesn’t match your energy.

When capacity is low and expectations are high, that’s where overwhelm lives.

Try this instead:

Do one small thing
Lower the bar
Focus on enough, not everything
Meet yourself with compassion

Your energy is precious, protect it where you can.
