Yesterday was our AGM.
We discussed the successes and challenges from the previous year, plans for the future, had the Chair's report and the Treasurer's report.

We then selected the committee members for 2026-27.

Rob, stood down as Chair after four years in the role. He remains on the committee to help make the change of Chair smoother and provide support. He is replaced by Kat and Barry who have agreed to Co-chair the group together.

So please welcome Kat and Barry as Survive and Thrive's new Co-Chairs.

Announcement from our Chair, Rob.

"After four years as Chair of Survive and Thrive I have decided to stand down at our AGM in May. I will not be leaving the committee completely though and will stay on as a general committee member to help whoever replaces me ease into the role.

I believe I have done a decent job in the role, with the award we won in 2024 definitely being a highlight. But I could not have done it without the assistance of all the committee members, past and present, so I would like to thank them all for their time, their input, ideas and advice, and their hard work".

Today Survive and Thrive had our last group meeting of the year and as is our tradition we had a relaxed Christmas party.

A buffet was provided by Foster's of Chapel.
We had a free raffle for those in attendance with a prize donated by High Peak Comps, music, and Christmas quizzes.

Thank you to all our members and supporters for another great year.

High Peak Comps today donated a £25 Argos Voucher as a prize for our Christmas Party raffle. We would all like to extend a big thank you for the donations we have received from them in 2025. They have been a big and very welcome help.

We are at the High Peak CVS AGM today with leaflets and information about ourselves.
Our chairperson, Rob, will also be delivering a speech and presenting the winner and runner ups of the Compton and Woodcock Award with their awards and cheques.
