Sadly this event has been cancelled... BUT a rainy day is the perfect time to sign up to volunteer with St. John East Kent Network - St John Ambulance Join as a Youth Leader or First Aider and learn life saving skills to protect you and your community!

Today the East Kent Network delivered more lifesaving skills to members of the Hamstreet WI, including CPR and Defibrillator use, please get in touch if you know of a group or organisation that would benefit from one of these sessions, no fee, just a donation to the charity.

You may have read or heard that the St John Ambulance building on North Military Road has been put up for auction, sadly this is true, due to challenging times premises across the country have been sold.

What does this mean for the local area? St John Ambulance will still have a presence in Dover, this may not be in the form of a visible building, but we are still here, our cadet volunteers will be found a new home in Dover! Our adults will meet for training at an alternative suitable venue.

We are still here and will continue to have a presence on social media, keeping you informed of what's going on, what we are doing and sharing essential first aid and life saving skills and tips.

Today and for the next two days St John volunteers from Dover and Canterbury part of the East Kent Network - St John Ambulance in partnership with Dover District Council are delivering CPR and Defibrillator Awareness sessions in Deal, Sandwich and Dover, free of charge.
