'I would like to nominate Sushmi for her commitment and dedication in promoting Chris' independence. She is the core team for Chris. We have seen a lot of improvement in Chris’ mental health and he is more interactive and sociable. A HUGE day for LDC Care at The Hub!🥹✨

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Deborah Sturdy, who spent time connecting with the amazing people we support and left with her own LDC Award, as thanks for everything she does for us and all Adult Social Care services!

Four Gold Awards were proudly handed to Lauren, Jack, Cheryll and Cameron, a massive congratulations to each of you. Your commitment and heart are what make LDC shine✨

And let’s talk about the food… our brilliant colleagues Deena, Bilana, Mahitha Dany and Prabish cooked up something truly special. Thank you for bringing flavour, warmth and joy to the day.

We also kicked off our Care Heroes Month, with Lyndsey Turner, our In House Trainer, receiving the first award of the month! 😍

At LDC Care, Pride isn’t just a month.. it’s a mindset💖

We believe in celebrating people exactly as they are. No labels, no limits, and definitely no boxes to fit into. Our unofficial mission has always been clear: be inclusive, be kind, and make space for everyone to be seen, valued, and loved for who they truly are.

This June, we’re proud to stand tall with our LGBTQ+ community including the people we support, our incredible employees, and everyone who walks through our doors. At LDC, your identity is never just accepted, it’s celebrated.

🎉 And what better way to honour that than with our annual Pride Festival on 29th June, a day filled with colour, music, laughter, and unity. It’s our way of shouting loud and proud: you belong here!!!

To everyone marking Pride Month, whether you’re out, questioning, an ally, or still on your journey - we see you, we support you, and we’re walking with you.
