I’ve had a few people ask over the years about the flag we have flying outside our Norfolk clinic💛🖤

Yeah… so… This is the Norfolk flag… 😬

Here’s a few fun facts 💛🖤

The design dates back centuries and is based on the arms attributed to Ralph de Gael, the first Earl of Norfolk.

The yellow and black sections are crossed by the distinctive white ermine band, which is thought to have a connection to Brittany, where Ralph was Lord of Gael.

It was officially registered as the traditional county flag of Norfolk on 11 September 2014.

So, a little bit of history flying proudly outside Angel Aesthetics! 💛🖤

This month we have teamed up Custom homeware & gifts - Amanda, Harper Nell - a fellow Norfolk small business creating beautiful items using Jesmonite.

Amanda is kindly creating us a piece with ‘a twist’ and from what we have seen so far it is going to be stunning!

What started as a creative outlet during Covid has now become a passion for handmade home decor.

All Angel Aesthetics clients who have treatment, review or buy Noon Skincare from us in September will be entered into our random name generator at the end of the month.

Saying ‘yes’ is easy.

Saying ‘no’ is often so much harder.

One of the things I’m proudest of is that I will never recommend a treatment simply because someone has asked for it.

Sometimes the safest and most ethical answer is no.

Sometimes it’s “I don’t think that treatment is right for you.”

Sometimes it’s “I don’t think that treatment is going to give you the results you are looking for.”

Sometimes it’s “I don’t think I’m the right practitioner for what you’re looking for.”

Sometimes it’s “I think we need to rearrange for a more suitable date.”

Those conversations can be really challenging.

But my priority will always be your safety, your wellbeing and achieving a result you’re genuinely happy with - not making a sale.

Doctor first, business owner second 🩺

That’s why receiving feedback like this - from people I’ve said no to, not treated, or signposted elsewhere - means so much to me. 🤍

We want you to love your results - and sometimes that means recognising that we aren’t the right practitioner for you.

Because ultimately, good aesthetics isn’t about how many treatments you can sell.

It’s about knowing when to treat, when not to treat, and when to refer onwards 💖

Recently we put together and donated 30+ goodie bags for a special charity event in Norfolk.

I can’t name or tag the charity just yet, as the nature of the event means the details need to remain private. If they choose to share and tag themselves I’ll happily share more - but until then we completely respect their privacy - as we do with our clients.

A lot of time and thought went into choosing the little extras, and I’ve heard they were put to good use as the event was during the heatwave.

Although I didn’t realise quite how useful the leftover items would be for myself too…

Fast forward to Saturday’s TLA awards and the fan and hair clip certainly came in very handy!

It really feels like we’ve only just started and suddenly it’s the 24th??

So here’s a little ‘2 in 1’ post for the remaining goodies in our August unpaid collaboration prize from The Norfolk Deli

🍪 Norfolk Cookie Co Double Choc Chip Cookies - made here in Norfolk with buttery flavour, soft centres and those irresistible crisp edges.

🥜 Mr Filbert’s Simple Sea Salt Mixed Nuts - delicious roasted nuts with just the right touch of sea salt. Very moreish!

Combine with cider… a definite win!
