HOW GRATEFUL ARE WE?

Sent by the wife to get some "plant based" sausage rolls for a family get together tomorrow.
Because I am still an enlightened judgemental soul, I couldn't help feeling a bit of resentment.
Spending money on sh*tty beige food that probably won't be appreciated anyway.

Maybe I am completely wrong, and that the plant based eaters there will show gratitude for the food they are eating.......especially the young ones. I'm sure all parents of today impress upon their kids the importance of showing gratitude before eating.....yes?, no?

FYI : The knot is made from tofu sheets. You buy them dry and soak to soften prior to cooking.
