International Nurses Day 💙

18 years ago I qualified as a nurse, spending 10 years in gynaecology before moving into Practice Nursing, where I’ve now worked for the past 8 years.

Three years ago I started Aesthetics of DPK alongside my nursing career, and 2 years ago became a Nurse Prescriber.

I’m proud to work as both a Practice Nurse and Aesthetics Nurse, doing jobs I truly love every day.

You might remember this lady had some filler to the peri oral area ( around mouth) in Jan & was back this week for some lip filler and a small top up around the mouth area.

This patient wanted a top lip with some definition and it just complements the rest lf the treatment !

Your skin is constantly changing and it’s hard to keep up ! Perimenopause , hormones, stress , sleep, poor diet , sun exposure are just some of the things that affect your skin !

Even knowing what is best for your skin is not always as easy to do on the daily ! So don’t stress it - you don’t need to overdo it !

From someone who had very resilient skin to suddenly very sensitive and reactive I’ve had to rethink my whole skincare routine ! Little did I know perimenopause & hormones were to blame !!

But there are days I let my skin breathe , I don’t do the things I should and I’m ok with that…

And if you want some guidance on the same I’m happy to help 🥰❤️
