Last week I had the pleasure of attending a fantastic 4 day marketing conference with the amazing longevity doctor , Keely Wooley & Michelle Watson amongst other mentors. It was pretty intense with 12 hours a day learning, but it just shows what you can achieve when you focus!

It’s not often you get to run a fascial manoeuvers class for your mentors but it really helped to ease our bodies after sitting for so long & bringing some energy to the day.

It also consolidated my thoughts that we are not designed to sit down for any long periods of time and that we need to shake up office life and bring some movement into peoples every day.

What can you do in your workspace to create some energy and movement? Do you have a standing desk? Do you go for a walk at lunchtime? Can you take the stairs? How can you create more flow in your body?

Totally twisted is a powerful go-to manoeuvre to lower stress immediately, ground yourself and find your breath.
It’s great for unwinding layers of tension and connecting back with your body.

You can also do it sitting down by just crossing the legs in a seated position if you’re struggling with your mobility and balance

Part 2 - using acupressure balks to release stuck fascia. You can press, roll, slightly press & twist, anything that feels good. There is an all over ball self-massage program I have but for now try this to relief tight calves & feet. Let me know how you get on.

A huge shout out to every single one of you who took place in the London marathon on Sunday. I am in awe of your achievements and so grateful for all of the money you have raised for charity!

These are just some easy fascial manoeuvers from that you can do to help relieve aches & pains after your run. Remember hydration is key to happy fascia! It will have dehydrated and contracted during the run and it’s important that you gently bring flow back into the body. You can do these several times a day if you like. Let me know how you get on.

Feeling wired but tired? That’s a dysregulated nervous system.

When you’re stuck in stress mode, your body isn’t looking for productivity—it’s looking for safety.

This is one of my go-to exercises to help shift out of that state and back into calm. If you focus on the movement, the mind can quieten. It is so lovely not to think, just for a few minutes.
