BIEN celebrated it's 20th Anniversary last Thursday by going for a cruise on Loch Katrine, followed by lunch at The Abbotsford Hotel in Dumbarton. Aye, when we do things, we DO things! Dull day weatherwise, some photos are affected by the 'Scotch Mist' around us, but WHAT a way to celebrate that we're still going strong after 20 years. THIS is how to do it! There are people in the World who would pay thousands just to do what we did in Scotland last Thursday. Brain Injured or not, we're so fortunate to live in a place like this!
Thank you to the Co-operative in Balloch https://www.facebook.com/groups/1406428532720772/?locale=en_GB for giving us shortbread and sweets to acoompany our journey, we're grateful for the support they have shown BIEN. Here are a whole bunch of photos that show you our 20th Anniversary, some of which (mainly the the ones featuring people!) were taken by Alex Craig Photography. Thanks Alex for capturing what was a LANDMARK day for BIEN (even though we were on a Loch, not Land which we could mark!)

Well! In the past few weeks we have been up to things! We exhibited at the Head Injury Information Day (HiiD) Conference, AND we too a wee trip to the Denny Tank in Dumbarton.
The HiiD conference gives us a public window - we were the only Brain Injured people running our own show there - so agencies and businesses know of our existence. The Denny Tank was an interesting dive into local nautical history - the Denny Tank is quite famous in the world of testing ships on waves!
Not many photos this time, HiiDs was busy and the Denny Tank was a local outing. But here ye go...some photos!
