It’s starting to sink in that sitting here, in this moment, is about to become my new routine. 🤍

Creating little pockets of peace and calm where you can come in, switch off, breathe a little deeper and just be.

The glow of the lights as dusk settles.
The quiet.
The calm of the hour. ✨

I’ve spent a lot of years tearing strips off myself to give to everyone else. Giving, doing, fixing, carrying.

And while I’ll still be giving a little piece of myself to everyone who walks through the Glow Room door, I’m learning that it doesn’t have to come at the expense of me.

It can be slower.
More mindful.
More intentional.
And, most importantly, on my terms.

Because maybe the real magic of The Glow Room is that while I’m helping you leave feeling rested, rejuvenated and ready to go again, I get to feel a little more of that peace too.

A space where we both get to exhale. 🌿✨

I’ve been having a little think about how I can use my Tropic business to do a bit of good locally, and I really wanted to create something that felt genuinely worthwhile. 💚

So, together with some of my Hall’s Angels team, we’re putting together some gorgeous little Tropic self-care gift bags for £25. 🎁✨

And these aren’t £25 worth of products either… each bag will contain a Tropic product, or products, worth MORE than the £25 you pay.

But the bit that makes me really happy is that £5 from every bag sold will be donated to Young Women’s Network DG. 💜

YWMDG is my chosen charity because what they do for girls and young women aged 12–25 across Dumfries & Galloway aligns so beautifully with Tropic’s Infinite Purpose of empowering people to feel confident, valued and able to thrive.

I loved setting aside time to play with make up, try new things and share everything I’ve learned with you at my last workshop… so I’ve decided we’re doing it again! 💄✨

From now on, there’ll be monthly Make Up Workshops at The Glow Room for the rest of the year.

Two hours to play, experiment, learn and have a bit of fun with make up, with me there to guide you through it all.

We’ll work through everything from prep, base and sculpting to brows, eyes, lips and finishing touches, with tips and techniques you can actually take home and use.
