I have so many tattoos from this summer I haven’t yet shared, mostly because it has been the busiest time of my life with many festivals, retreats, 1:1 ceremonies and our wedding. This week I am remembering slowness and finding space to reflect. This BEAUTIFUL healed photo from a client came into my inbox this week, it was such a joy to create this with Jude over two days, bringing to life her guides, spirit tiger, and other elemental spirits she is deeply connected to. And an honour she spent her 50th birthday with me in this ceremony 🙏🏻🐅🌳:.

We are still landing from the beautiful LoveFest that was our wedding on the 8/8. It’s going to be very hard to communicate everything that this day meant to us and the big moments of connection that came with it.

However, our wonderful photographer Fable & Fern - Photographer & Videographer has done an amazing job of capturing images that seem to bring the emotions of the day to life. So we thought we would break the whole day into chunks that represent the different energies and practices we used to make this wedding such a powerful day.

We began with the preparation of the space, Aurora Borealis Retreat Centre and a teepee donated for our use by Joey Rochford and the Lakota/Wixarika practitioners. This whole weekend was a community effort with many of our friends gathering days in advance to help us decorate the teepee, put up bell tents, and prepare the food.

1. Walking to the teepee together as a family

3. The day before four sisters created the Elemental altar ~ each choosing an element to bring to life
4. The elements forced us inside, which meant we could create a magical teepee space
5. Our ancestral altar
6. Banana getting excited hearing everyone arrive on the day

Adorning my body in handmade fabrics from beautiful weavers of cloth has become something so loving that I do for my body. The vibration of fabric and clothing that touches us either enhances our wellbeing or zaps our energy. As someone who worked as a fashion designer for half my life, the feel of love and intention and good quality material makes such a difference to how I feel.:.

I am constantly reminded of the simple joy, beauty and power of body adornment in all the ways, from clothing and accessories to tattoo markings. I wear headscarfs to protect my crown and energy leaking, I wear tigers eye around my neck for protection and expression. Adornments can be for play and practicality 🪶🌿

Beautiful Skye sat with me this weekend at Pagan Fellowship Festival in Scotland and it was a super powerful session. The ancient female ancestors, spirit guides 🕸️and the elements journeyed with us as we marked her intentions and honoured her journey of transformation ~ like the Phoenix rising as represented in the design. Honouring the death ~ rebirth portal for all it is and anchoring in strong new energies and prayers onto her heart centre.:.
