This is Ellan, a lovely client at Farm Girl 🤍

After the shock of finding out she had a rare brain cancer, Ellan and her family were suddenly faced with navigating treatments, difficult decisions and options outside of standard care.

A GoFundMe page was created to help fund 12 months of oncothermia treatment, with an original target of £50,000. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who donated and shared, that target has now been reached.

The fundraiser will remain open as Ellan and her family begin looking into further, more direct immunotherapy treatment options, as well as becoming a place for future fundraising events organised by her family and friends.

I don’t think it’s all sunk in yet 🤍

I’ve wanted this for such a long time but it has taken years of learning, years of looking after clients, years of building a business, and years of making the investment to bring something like this to Farm Girl.

Saturday was our first Cutera Secret DUO training day. We absolutely loved it! The are so calm, so conscientious, and they genuinely care about getting absolutely everything right. Which is why you know we are going to deliver some incredible results.

To be able to bring a globally recognised technology like this to our area, so our clients (me included🙋🏻‍♀️) don’t have to travel to London anymore for this level of treatment, is something I’ll never take for granted!

Thank you to every single client who has trusted us over the years. You’re the reason we’ve been able to take this step, and we can’t wait to share everything with you🤍

A few weeks ago I took the girls away for a little break and honestly… it was everything we all needed!

A hot tub, a private chef, table tennis 🏓 beautiful breakfasts cooked by Dawn, some of the girls heading out for an early morning run while the others were back in the hotub, and a few of us getting a little competitive over the evening games 🤣 We laughed a lot and I loved to see that.

Then on our final morning, Dawn asked me to lead the meditation I’d written earlier this year.

It was all about coming home to yourself. Remembering that beneath the expectations, the comparisons and the roles we carry every day, there is still the truest version of you. The part of you that has always known you. And that sometimes, the love we’re searching for from everyone else is the very love we need to offer ourselves first.

Afterwards, I asked everyone to stay where they were for a moment. To appreciate the women lying beside them. Each carrying their own story, their own challenges and their own journey, yet somehow all meeting in the same place at the same time. We all cried at the end! Big hearts these girls have and part of why FG is the way it is.

I looked around and just felt this overwhelming sense of gratitude.

One day life will look different. There will be weddings, children, new adventures and different paths. We may not always all be together, but in that moment we were exactly where we were meant to be.

That weekend reminded me why Farm Girl means so much to me. We don’t just believe in creating beautiful treatments, we believe in creating space for people to slow down, reconnect and feel cared for. We have to nurture that within ourselves too.

To my girls… thank you. For believing in this dream, for looking after one another, for caring so deeply about our clients and for making Farm Girl what it is.

And Lucy….so nice to have you there and welcome you into the Farm Girl family. 🤍

Summer Sculpt & Release Treatment 🌿

When the lymphatic system becomes sluggish, you can feel it in everything! Puffiness, bloating, tension through the jaw and shoulders, dull skin, tired energy. Sometimes the body just needs help moving things through again.

The treatment begins with stomach lymphatic drainage to encourage movement through the body and support circulation before moving into the face, neck, and shoulders.

We then work with our Gua Sha lymphatic drainage and deep tissue facial massage to sculpt, release tension, and reduce puffiness while helping the skin feel fresh and lifted. One of our signature Farm Girl jelly masks cools and comforts the skin before Icey Globes help calm inflammation and wake up the complexion with that healthy summer glow.

We finish with Aurascreen 2-1 moisturiser SPF and a full body sage cleanse for the ultimate reset.

For clients wanting more advanced results, electricals can also be added into the treatment for extra sculpting, toning, and skin stimulation.
