Today we had a change to our activity schedule…
As our residents came together to celebrate the wonderful life and music of Dolly Parton. 💕🎶
We spent the day listening to her much-loved songs, enjoying fun quizzes and wordsearches, and chatting about her incredible life, career and the joy she has brought to so many people over the years. 🌟Did you know she had 350 wigs
Although yesterday brought some sad news, it was lovely to see Dolly’s music still bringing smiles, laughter and happiness to our residents. ❤️
There was plenty of singing, reminiscing and wonderful conversations — a beautiful reminder that music has the power to bring us together and brighten even the saddest of days. 🎵✨Thank you, Dolly, for the memories, the music and all the joy! 💖🦋

When a loved one moves into a care home, The role as family doesn't end,it just changes.
The staff provide wonderful daily care, but nobody brings comfort, comfort memories, and a sense of home quite like family. Being there,holding a hand, reminiscing over old photos, bringing in a favourite treat, or simply sitting together,playing dominoes like in this photograph,reminds our residents of who they are .That familiar love is irreplaceable, and it plays a massive part in keeping their spirits high and their emotional well-being strong.
Moving into care is a journey best taken together. To all the families showing up, sharing love, and staying deeply connected: your presence means the absolute world to your loved ones and us 💐

It’s the little chats over a cup of tea, the shared laughter, helping each other through the difficult days, and simply knowing that someone is there.Friendship doesn’t have an age limit. In a care home, friendships can bring comfort, companionship and so many happy memories. Sometimes, the best part of the day is having someone beside you to share it with. 🥰Here’s to the friendships that brighten our days, bring smiles to our faces and remind us that we’re never alone.
