Dear Ones 🙏💚🙏

Last week’s newsletter reflection, Grief as Evidence of Love, seemed to touch something for many people.

I received messages speaking about grief, endings, change, memory, love, illness, transition and the strange tenderness that can exist alongside loss.

Several people also asked whether I might offer an online Pluto Gong Bath connected to the themes within the piece — something they could experience from home and revisit afterwards.

So on Wednesday 3rd June at 8pm, I’ll be offering:
An Online Pluto Gong Bath — Grief as Evidence of Love

A live online sound bath exploring themes of grief, release, remembrance and transformation.

(A recording will also be available afterwards for those unable to attend live.)

If you’d like to read the original blog, you can do so here:

You can also read more about the online sound bath/event here. Just scroll down to 3rd June. This link also allows you to book - after which you'll receive a confirmation email including your password and how to access the live online event.

As I prepare for the Summer Solstice retreat, 'Riding the Fire Horse', I find myself returning again and again to the wild ponies of Exmoor.

There is something in them that speaks of instinct, endurance, quiet presence, and an ancient kind of freedom.

This retreat is not about pushing or performing, but about reconnecting with the inner flame that helps us feel alive, creative, and fully ourselves once more.

A shorter version of this beautiful, brief encounter from Hawaii... 🏝

She came slowly towards me - closer and closer - until she reached my feet and lifted her head above the surface to look directly at me.

Only then did I realise she had just three fins.

There was something about her presence...
gentle, vulnerable and quietly whole.

She was beautiful and left a lasting impression. 🩵

She came slowly toward me—closer and closer—
until she reached my feet and lifted her head above the surface to look directly at me.

Only then did I realise she had just three fins.

There was something in that moment…
gentle, vulnerable, and quietly powerful.

May your Bank Holiday hold a moment of stillness,
and something quietly unexpected.

There are places that seem to hold us differently.

Greetings dear Ones 🙏💚🙏

This afternoon I returned to the sea at Hartland Quay—a quiet cove, wide sky, and the steady rhythm of water meeting rock.

A simple swim… fresh, clear, and deeply grounding.

With the Full Moon in Scorpio and the turning of Beltane, there’s a sense of movement—of release and renewal.

The water invites a soft letting go.
The fire, perhaps, a gentle rekindling from within.

Sometimes it’s enough just to step in,
to feel the body meet the elements again,
and to remember something ancient and steady within us.

Wishing you a gentle Beltane and Full Moon blessings.

With love,
Alexandra & the Gongs xx
