✨ Bank holiday weekend plans sorted! ✨

Durham has got a jam-packed few days in store for you, starting today with the last of the Friday Summer Markets. ☀️🎪

Don't forget: in addition to all the fabulous stalls and the free kids' activity tent and face painting today, there is also the incredible Rotary North East 'One Life Initiative', WEL Medical Limited, and North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust in the Market Place, providing free, hands-on CPR and defibrillator training.

On Saturday, the regular weekly outdoor market will be back with dozens upon dozens of brilliant and talented traders selling everything from food and drink to fashion and homeware.

🛻 Then, on Bank Holiday Monday, the Durham Classic Car Show is back in town with over 100 gleaming vintage beauties, much-loved family favourites, retro icons, head-turning sports cars, and magnificent motors spread across the Market Place, Palace Green and both Elvet and Framwellgate Bridges. You can view these great vehicles between 11am and 4pm.

Of course, our wonderful Market Hall will be open on all these days (with our Bank Holiday opening hours from 10am until 4pm), so come and have a browse while you're in the city!

Our studio is only open Today and Saturday 10am-4pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday as normal.

Heading back to school with new piercings? Here’s what you need to know:

✅ Don’t Remove Jewellery Until It’s Fully Healed!
Taking out your jewellery too soon can cause your piercing to close, trap bacteria, and lead to infection. Healing times vary, you can check our aftercare on the sheet you were given or by calling in and speaking to Kelly.

✅ Need a Discreet Option?
If your school doesn’t allow visible jewellery, a clear piercing retainer may be an option once your piercing is stable.
➡️ We sell retainers (but cannot fit them for you). Always check with the piercer before switching. Only use a retainer as a last resort and ideally only after the piercing is stable.

✅ Never Force Jewellery In or Out
If you’re having trouble, always get help from a professional piercer rather than risking damage or infection.

💡 Pro Tip: Aftercare is essential. We sell Neilmed aftercare solution to keep your piercing clean and healthy. Avoid touching it with dirty hands, and follow aftercare instructions for the full healing time.

Nose piercings add a little edge to your everyday look. They totally transform your face but in a subtle way.

It is one of our most popular piercings. We do them from Age 14 and they take about 3-4 months to heal. It is always done with a labret stud initially to aid healing then you can change it to a ring once it is fully healed if desired. There are a good range of different labrets to choose from too.

Kelly is in Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4pm and piercings are always done on a walk in basis. With the BUY ONE GET ONE HALF PRICE offer on it would be rude not to treat yourself or a loved one ❤️
