✅ Registered Nurse with the NMC, with an active PIN

✅ 3 yearly revalidation with the NMC complete

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) revalidation process is a mandatory requirement for nurses, midwives, and nursing associates in the UK to renew their registration every three years.

My registration now sees me using my nursing skills in a different way to direct patient care, focusing on clinical education, consultancy and clinical competency assessments, allowing me to help even more people 🙏

I draw on my too many years of clinical experience, including District Nursing, A+E, Medical Wards, Medical Assessment Units, Rehabilitation Units, Event Medical Cover and First Aid Cover, in roles such as Senior Nurse, Regional Clinical Lead, Home Manager, Nurse First Responder and Charge Nurse.

Academically, I draw on my Diploma Higher Education (Nursing Studies), RCN Accredited Nurse Practitioner Certificate, BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science, SAC Diploma Foot Health Practitioner, Teaching Qualification and many many more hours of CPD courses.

This year marks 15 years as a Registered Foot Health Practitioner...time is certainly flying by 💫

Still absolutely love this role. The old back doesn't always agree however 😂, but we potter on 💪

Blessed to have the opportunity to meet so many lovely patients in a variety of settings, including care homes and private houses, love working in the community. Also blessed to work with a range of professionals in the care home setting, makes the job so much easier 🤝

My mind is willing 🧠 let's hope this dodgy back of mine will last another 15 years 🙏

Our first time in delivering our course

A mix of theory and practical, putting these healthcare staff through their paces. From risk assessments to care plans, micro-teach to mobility assessment, equipment checks to safe handling techniques...and so much more‼️

An intense couple of days, but these staff rose to the challenge taking it all in their stride 💪

We've had a fantastic couple of days in with the team delivering our Train The Trainer Moving and Handling Instructor.

A mix of theory and practical, putting these healthcare staff through their paces. Micro-teach, Risk assessments, sling assessment, equipment checks, mobility assessment and so much more.

An intense couple of days, but these staff rose to the challenge.
