It started with a ‘Box’. Four women wanting to spread a little positivity during lockdown. Creating packages filled with treats to nurture the mind and body; and most importantly, to remind someone they were being thought of. It brought joy to our hearts, and I knew I wanted to do more.

As a parent raising a child without a support system, lockdown honestly felt like a normal day for us. But for so many parents, it was the first time they were experiencing motherhood without the support they were used to.

So I created a Wellness Series; a wellbeing box each month, filled with small rituals and treats to support the mind, body and soul. I hosted lives to talk about the ‘stuff’ we don’t always talk about and loved sharing simple wellbeing tips that could fit into real life.

Because sometimes it’s the smallest rituals that help us survive. And that’s exactly what I had learnt.

Moving back to the UK, left me feeling lost for a while. Through it all, I still found myself sharing wellbeing tips for women, looking for something simple for themselves and their families too.

In 2023, I rebranded to Amba Rituals, with the intention of sharing seasonal rituals and remedies, alongside social walks and coffee mornings. Being around women who ‘got it’ became such an important part of my wellbeing too. A moment to pause, connect and just be.

And whilst life continued to feel chaotic, I realised the ritual I always came back to was a face massage.

My love for face massage goes far beyond the early days of wellness boxes (it just took me a while to realise it 🤦🏽‍♀️)

Businesses evolve. You pivot, learn and grow, slowly uncovering what it is you truly want to share with the world. And somewhere along the way, I realised what I wanted to create was more than a facial.

I wanted to create a space where women could simply let go. Rest. Be looked after. To make their soul feel happy.

Looking back, every part of this journey has always come back to the same thing - creating space for women to slow down, reconnect with themselves and find comfort in the small rituals that carry us through ✨

I’d love for you to join me sometime x

She’s not a mum tonight. She’s a whole situation.

Kids in camp for the weekend. No schedule. No bedtime routine.

Just letting loose on a Friday night 💃🏽

Have the best weekend whatever you’re doing

When I was thinking of my rebrand two years ago, one name kept singing to me.…

Amba {ahm-buh), for a number of reasons:

🌿My grandma - Ambaben
🌿In Sanskrit ‘Amba’ means Mother
🌿In Hinduism, the Goddess Amba or Ambika, is a form of the divine feminine, embodying qualities such as love, compassion, strength, and protection.
Goddess Amba is worshiped as a powerful and protective deity and is often depicted as a fierce and warrior-like goddess, symbolising courage and strength.

No matter what stage of womanhood we are in, we all embody Ambas’ courage, strength, love and fierceness

Still relying on caffeine to get through the day? ☕️ You’re not alone… but it might also be why your energy feels up and down.

Rasayana is about focusing on building energy, not borrowing it.

Because true revitalisation doesn’t come from quick boosts. It comes from steady nourishment.

Did you know botanical drinks can:
🌿 support digestion (which is key for energy)
🌿 hydrate the body on a deeper level
🌿 reduce that “wired but tired” feeling
🌿 help you feel more balanced throughout the day

For women, this is really important. Hormones, stress, busy schedules…
we don’t just need energy . . . we need sustainable energy.

Try this:
✨ haldi dhoodh (golden milk) - warm milk with turmeric + cinnamon
✨ rose tea for a soft, calming lift
✨ or a simple ginger, cinnamon & fennel blend instead of your second coffee

It’s not about cutting things out overnight. .. just gently adding in what nourishes you.

✨ Save this as a reminder to support your energy differently this week

Don’t just take my word for it . .

It’s not just a facial at Amba Rituals. It’s an experience. A moment of calm, a moment to decompress, connect with your soul. A moment just to forget about everything that’s going on around you.

You’ll leave not only with the post facial glow, but you’ll feel like the weight of the world has been lifted.

Tired… but wired? Read this 🌙

One of the most overlooked parts of revitalising our energy is learning how to soften.

In Ayurveda, true renewal (Rasayana) doesn’t happen when we’re in constant stress mode. It happens when the body feels safe enough to rest.

And at this time of year (kapha season), you might notice a heavier, slower kind of energy . . .a bit more sluggishness, a bit less motivation.

It’s tempting to push through that.

But real revitalisation doesn’t come from pushing harder. It comes from restoring your energy first. I have definitely learned this over the last few years!

This is where simple evening rituals can be so powerful.

Using calming essential oils like:
🌿 lavender
🌿 frankincense
🌿 sweet orange

These essential oils can help:
✨ settle the nervous system
✨ ease mental tension
✨ support deeper sleep
✨ gently restore your energy

And for women, especially if you’re holding a lot, this intentional pause is everything.

Try this tonight:
Add a few drops of essential oil to your palms (diluted with a carrier oil)
Place your palms in front of your face
Take three deep slow breaths in and out
Let your shoulders drop

That’s it. Simple. But powerful.

This ritual is revitalising (rasayana) too . . . not doing more, but allowing your body to receive.

✨ Save this to come back to tonight

Comment ‘CALM’ and I’ll share a simple blend you can try
