In yoga philosophy, Annamaya Kosha is the physical body - the layer of our being we experience through the senses.

In meditation, we explored the senses as a portal - moving between the inner and outer worlds.

Listening, feeling and noticing.

Gathering sensations like precious gifts🌿

The changing pointing towards the unchanging🌿🌊

🌊 Water calms us 🌊

It helps soothe and regulate our nervous system, inviting us to slow down, breathe more deeply and be present.

When you’re swimming, floating, listening to the sound of water or just sitting beside it - water has a way of bringing us back to ourselves.

It quiets the mind, softens tension in the body and helps us enter a more meditative state.

One of the reasons I love bringing yoga and wild swimming together is that both offer an opportunity to pause, reconnect and experience the healing benefits of nature.
